Marsh's Snack Bar — Restaurant in Bonavista

Found a white hair under my burger and got a second order and found a black hair around a fry. Asked for Bacon Cheeseburger with just ketchup.. and also got onions with it. Safe to say i wont eat there no more. And me? Dine and dash? No way. I went into the seating area and ordered my meal. Once i found that hair under the burger, i went up to the counter, and SHOWED YOUR EMPLOYEE, the hair, she looked at the hair and said sorry to my face, then she said she would get me another meal. And she was complaining the whole time she served me and my friend. When she brought the second meal out, i had the burger ate and was started on my fries, until i found, yet another hair in my food. So what i did this time, was walk out through the door, went to the window, and dropped the tray in on the counter and told the girl that there was another hair in my food. And before i had i out, she said "oh dont tell me theres another hair". Thats all she did was complain that i got 2 free meals? Does it look like i had 2 free meals? No it did not. I had 2 free hairs in my food tho. I have my friend here to back me up if you really want to say im going to "dine and dash". Your employee told me, i had it for free. I dont steal, im not a theif, but to have workers there that say things about customers? Safe to say you lost a few good customers. Im letting everyone know that you like to call your customers theives before you even know whats on the go. Maybe you should not always listen to your workers, maybe some are lying. I live in central NL and have been coming here for pass 10 years every year for chicken and to see the whales . This will be my last time coming here due too being over charged for my meal . We were over charged $5 for our pizza so we went back to ask why and asked to talk to manager . Server would not give us back our $5 and said bring back the pizza for full refund . I suspect she though we would not come back . We came back with pizza and said No to refund . I asked to talk to manager and she said go away you harrassing me I call you cab . I said I don't want Cab I would like to talk to your manager . Server said go away you harrassing me I call you cab . I said you keep your pizza and walked away and go in my car not cab. I was not harrassing anyone . All I wanted was my $5 for being over charged . Instead I was harassed and paid for 2 pizza that I didn't get and will never come back here again .If you want to be overcharged and Harassed with a cab called for you then this is a good...

Awful experience at this place. The Filipino woman working at the front was without a doubt the rudest person I've ever come across at an eating establishment. While waiting for my food, I witnessed her use the bathroom without washing her hands. Absolutely disgusting. The food was below average and the gravy was literally tasteless. I had several people try the gravy and every single one of them was shocked at how it was as tasteless as tap water.

I understand this woman probably hates her job and knows her boss can't find anyone to replace her, but at least show a bit of respect to paying customers.

I'll make sure I tell everyone I know to avoid this...
