UPDATE FROM 3 YEARS AGO - Well… I went again tonight (Nov 2024) to try this again. Still disappointed in service. I want to make it clear that the food is VERY tasty!! It’s always been good and that will always keep people coming back…. BUT…. It’s still not okay to send out only part of the table’s food. Tonight we had 7 people in our party…. they send out two meals, one of which was incomplete, gave four other people their sides (gravy/coleslaw) and then we waited for an additional 20 minutes for the rest of our food. It is NEVER okay to do this. Proper customer satisfaction is important. Not to mention that this place is busy EVERY Saturday…. It’s not new that it will be busy… why not have the proper staff and proper kitchen prep. If you sit in the dining room and just listen, you can hear everyone complaining about the length of time it takes. People in my party told me that in previous weeks they had gone in and didn’t get their food for TWO HOURS…. That’s insanity!! PKs… your food is great!! Your customer service sucks!!! Surely you make enough money on your busy days to employ an extra waitress or pay your kitchen staff a few extra kitchen prep hours. It’s STILL a one star for me.

This place is extremely frustrating!!!!! You go in and sit down for a meal and the waitress takes your order. She then brings out the meals one at a time and sometimes the first person is done before the last person gets their meal... and there are only 5 people sitting to our table. Once you are done and go to pay you end up having to wait out in the lobby for another 20 minutes to pay for your meal because their take out line gets priority. It’s ridiculous!!!! When you have a meal in the dining room you should be able to pay at your table. This restaurant is EXTREMELY disorganized!!! The service sucks and that makes the food not worth the trouble. Do better PKs!!! You’re getting a terrible reputation over things...

Called and asked how long a pizza delivery would take and she checked and I was told 30 mins. After 1 hour I called and was told there were other deliveries before me. My pizza finally arrived 1hr 50 mins after I ordered!! Would never have ordered if I had known that’s how long it would take. Was also told that the lady hadn’t written my phone number down correctly so they couldn’t call when on their way, so I just got the horn honked from the car and I had to go out. The car smelt like cigarettes. $32 for a medium 2 topping pizza and 2 cokes. Tasted average. I ate in at the restaurant a week earlier and food (fish and scrunchions) was average then too and from the time I was given my meal it was nearly an hour til I left and I didn’t get any service in that time.. wanted another drink, a takeout box etc, I eventually got up and went to takeout area and asked to pay. Was always a loyal customer to this place until today! I ordered a small poutine, and some of the fries were raw and the potato crunchy. I paid $15 for a SMALL poutine, so knowing I couldn’t eat my food that I paid good money for, was upsetting so like anyone in the right mind would do, I brought it back to the restaurant to tell them. one worker basically laughed in my fiancés face and pretty much called us liars. another one of the workers looked at my fiancé and said “go deal with him now” and walked away from him. They couldn’t own up to their mistake so they made us feel totally stupid for complaining about something we paid good money for that we could not eat. The service we got today was just absolutely mind blowing and I will never go back! Such poor customer service. They reluctantly gave us a coupon for the restaurant again but it will not be used by myself or my family. I will not be going...
