This unassuming snack bar packs a surprise with their food!

Went there after exploring PEI national park and almost missed the turn to their drive way.

We got the lobster roll and fish and chip. I made a small request of making the lobster roll with butter instead of mayonaise. I guess no one had really asked for it before so they were confused. I told them it’s okay if it’s complicating things. BUT, when the food came, it was THE best lobster roll on the island, they made it without the mayonaise and had a little bit on dijon mustard on it. Despite of the lobster pieces sitting on a bed of shredded cabbage (i know it’s unusual, it’s a little chinese cuisine influence. They also sell some chinese food) there were still plenty big chunks of lobster meat. The fish and chip was also great. The batter was super crunchy and well seasoned and yet the fish was still moist.

We just got to town for holidays, and this place was so busy we figured the food must be good. Boy were we wrong. Got combination plates (#1, #3 and #4). The only thing edible was the honey garlic ribs. The “ginger beef” had such a strong smell/Tate of curry that after trying it, no one touched it again. 5 chicken balls came with the combo and 1 was eaten, the rest thrown out. The rice tasted like it has been sitting for weeks and even the sweet and sour sauce was off. We waited an hour to get our food, paid about $80 and threw most of it away. Service was quick and friendly. Facilities were clean.

We ordered chicken balls, Geheral Tso's chicken on rice, spring and egg rolls. General Tso's was tossed in sweet and sour sauce with a few pieces of bell pepper and onion mixed in...the chicken was mushy and mostly heavy soggy batter...overall the dish lacked flavour and was not a typical General Tso's. Chicken balls were mostly batter with both of us spitting out unedible pieces of chicken.
