Johal Sweets & Restaurant — Restaurant in Brampton

PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!

First reason: If you want to spend your hard earned money for good service, then please go somewhere else.. I was on my way home, coming from work, decided to go to Johal Sweets and grab some food... When I entered, there was only one person, a guy, taking and handling the orders.. However, after about some minutes later, a lady comes and starts taking the orders as well; now there were two people taking the orders.. While I was waiting in line, for about 10 - 15 minutes, behind a customer, two other people came, waited behind me for only about 5 mins, got served first.. The lady employee didn't even bother asking me if I have been served, or if I have placed an order already, etc., came and served the two costumers who just entered the restaurant, who only waited in line for 5 minutes, where I was in front of them, waiting for at least 15 - 20 minutes now, for someone to take my order.. Out of the two workers, none of them bothered asking for my order... How does this make sense, I don't even know!

Secondly: While I was waiting, my eye went on the counter, observing two little cockroaches running around.. This place definitely needs a pest control service, and Peel Public Health should be aware of this! As soon as I have seen that, I left immediately and didn't even want to look back at the restaurant..

Found an “ Insect” in the GOBI Pranthas. Did not wanted to create a scene, so we just went inside the store and asked them to garbage it and please give us fresh; with just one condition to garbage the items in front of us, but i guess it was too much to ask. They gave us a lame excuse that there is no garbage bin inside, so they are going to throw it in the kitchen. I wanted to believe them, but still standing there for half an hour constantly thinking that they are going to give us the same items back. So decided to ask for the refund to which they happily obliged. Now, in all this scenario, i think we deserved an apology; we did not want to be ‘karen’ and neither did we become one. Yet, all we get from them is our refund, their attitude (that it is not a big deal), and a clear picture proudly posted on the wall “Pest control -2020”.

Did not want to harm their business in this ongoing pandemic, but humility, hospitality and empathy should...

I wish i could give 0 stars for there service now. I used to like this place but now there quality of food is not good. We always get our food packed and eat it at home.Everytime we order there is a mistake like first we bought chana bhtura and what we got in chana was 2 big boiled potatoes and removing them was only a spoon of channa left and then second time we got 1 plate bhtura while we ordered for 2 plates and this was the last time we gave them a chance and they disappointed us again as we ordered palak panner and there was not a single piece of paneer in that and whenever we go to complain they always have an excuse that its the mistake of the other girl, i wonder who the other girl is.There food also starts smelling bad in a day. Sorry but we are never going back...
