Leaving some constructive feedback here.
First reason I gave a 5*was I know how bad low rating review hits a small business not only in regular times but especially during the pandemic as a small business owner myself. Also, because the customer service lady was very polite and nice over the phone and in person.
Now the feedback.
You dont have to have everything under the sun on your menu. Its OK to have a limited but tasty menu. Reason I say this is below.
I ordered veg briyani and fish pakore.
Fish pakore were tasty but soggy (ate them while driving home) so you could tell they were made and then the box was closed, the crispy batter turned to soggy mess while waiting for the order to be prepared. ( I got there early and was waiting on my order so it didnt want for me. That's the only complaint...maybe make a small hole in the box to let the steam escape so they dont become soggy.
Second order item was veg biryani...and you could tell the chef didnt know how to make it. Absolutely no spice...no flavour..just rice..yellow food colour, panner cubes and frozen mix veggies no name ones lol from no frills (beans, corn, carrots mix etc).
If you dont know how to make it..please dont have it on the menu..its more damaging to your reputation if you make a thing wrong rather than not having it.
Hoping you can learn from this...and good...
Read moreTo dine in you must order a large meal, guy said it’s because of service charge? Never heard this in any restaurant before. It’s business but this is a money grab, why would a single person dining in order a meal that’s too large?
I ordered chicken tikka gravy masala, originally was going to do take out, he asked medium or large? Medium he said feeds 2-3 ppl and large 3-5. I was alone so said medium is fine. Told me 20-25 mins, np, I was early still had another 10 mins he said, I asked can I dine in, there was no other reason given but, dine in you must order large size, as it has service charge prices in it. Don’t get it. I even explained I won’t be back to see if he would understand my pov still said no. I don’t like doing this but cancelled the order and left. One day I will return as their food is really good. But unfortunate that they have this rule/policy. By the way they have 4-5 tables, only a single guy was sitting at the table waiting for his food. Doubt a single guy ordered a large curry. Other tables were...
Read moreIf someone wants eat uncooked and taste less food, order their “tandoori champ”. You will know what i am talking. Even after returning to their food to them. Instead of giving refund. All they will do is , they gonna take your food back and they will add some soya and hot sauce and fry it a little bit and they will return you the same bowl back to you saying they have cooked it now.
and they will say “YOUR ORDER IS FIXED”
No one ever in restaurant business return the same food back After adding some sauces. “ BE PROFESSIONALS MAKE NEW FOOD IF YOU DID MISTAKE” If you can’t make food good food then refund. This is a real incident happened with guy with jeep and me. (On that day i said him to pickup 50$ i saw near one one chair(some customer would have lost))
I tried being nice.
Now i am just wondering what will...
