If you're craving authentic South Indian flavors in a vegetarian paradise, look no further than Minerva Tiffins. Nestled in the heart of Brampton, this eatery is a haven for dosa, idly, and an extensive veg buffet that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly ground spices welcomes you, setting the stage for a culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of South India. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a touch of traditional decor that adds to the dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. The dosas are perfection – crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with an array of mouthwatering chutneys and sambar. Whether you prefer classic masala dosa or adventurous paneer dosa, there's something for everyone. And let's not forget about the idlys – light, fluffy, and simply divine. Paired with a steaming cup of filter coffee, it's the perfect way to start your day or unwind after a hectic one. But the real gem here is the veg buffet. An assortment of aromatic curries, flavorful rice dishes, and assorted vegetables awaits, ensuring that even the pickiest eater will find something to love. And don't even get me started on the desserts – each bite is a sweet symphony of flavors that will leave you craving for more. To top it all off, the service is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to cater to your needs. In conclusion, minerva is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best of South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Whether you're a die-hard dosa fan or just looking to expand your culinary horizons, this place will not disappoint. So gather your friends and family, and prepare for a feast that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you coming back for more

A Flavorful South Indian Feast Tonight’s dinner was a delightful journey through South Indian flavors, featuring Mirchi Bajji, Idli, Upma Pesarattu, and Masala Chai. Each dish brought its own charm to the table, creating a satisfying and well-balanced meal. The Mirchi Bajji was a perfect appetizer—crispy on the outside, with a soft, mildly spicy chili inside with onions suffed. The Idlis were light, fluffy, and paired beautifully with chutney and sambar. The highlight of the meal was the Upma Pesarattu—a fusion of crispy, protein-rich green gram dosa with soft, flavorful upma stuffed inside. To round it off, a steaming cup of Masala Chai provided the perfect ending. Overall, the dinner was a comforting mix of crispy, soft, and spiced flavors, making for a truly satisfying experience. Would definitely enjoy this spread again!

The family-friendly ambiance is delightful, complemented by Great hospitality and staff who are very soft-spoken. There's a wide array of South Indian and Millet dishes available. We went to dinner, Among our favorites were the crisp and flavorsome Karam Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, and Millet Karam Dosa. The Mirchi Bhaji and Punugulu from Andhra Pradesh are must-tries, prepared with minimal oil. This has quickly become my preferred destination for South Indian cuisine. They even graciously accommodated our birthday celebration for a small group of 8 in a Private room with out notice. Many thanks to Reddy garu and all the staff for the wonderful experience.

I called the Scarborough / North York location on Lebovic on Thursday or Friday August 21, 2025 to make a reservation for 16 people for Sunday Aug 23rd at 6 pm to 630 pm. I spoke to someone who said that they do not take reservations on the weekend and we should be fine to walk in. I asked them a couple to verify this info. I said we are a larger group and would it not be better to reserve than to walk in? Again, the person explained that we should be ok to walk in.

My brother-in-law is in an electric wheelchair and lives at Victoria Park and Eglinton so going to Warden and Eglinton is not far for him. Also, we had 5 family members coming from Ottawa, and the rest were from Richmon Hill and Caledon.

My brother in law got there early at around 530-600 pm. Also the family from Ottawa got there early.

The person at the restaurant said you need reservations for a group as they cannot guarantee seating for any walk in group. My brother in law called me and I spoke to the person at the restaurant and explained that I tried to make a reservation and they dod not let me. He then went on to explain that they take reservations on weekends only if you call them 1 MONTH before. So they had many group reservations for that evening. I told him that I was never told that and I was only told to walk in and we should be fine. It was embarrassing for me and I got a little worked up and raised my voice because the person also said now we have 19 ppl. Not the 16 I had mentioned on the phone so they cannot accommodate that many. But when asked, they could not even accommodate 16 ppl! The person kept on arguing with me and I was driving to the restaurant. My husband said to leave it. I feel that the restaurant should have told me about group reservations made a month in advance. Had I known that then we would never have gone to East Side Marios. My daughter works at Kelseys and they have taken groups as big as 80 ppl last minute. I know it depends on size and business, but the fact that they require reservations on weekends a month in advance is crazy. And the fact that they failed to mention they had a few (small) group reservations already, was not good. They should not have told me to walk in with a group and say "you should be fine".

The person was quite rude when I called to make a reservation and when I spoke to them again on the phone. They said we changed the number to 19 from 16 ( it was same person I spoke with both times). We just had 2 add one last minute. So we actually were 18 ppl. Not 16 or 19.

We ended up at the South Indian restaurant 2 doors over. I called Mandarin and they said they could take a reservation for 18-19 at 7 pm or 730 pm. But it was difficult for my brother in law to get there. It meant he would have to get on TTC. And he had a PSW coming at 830 or 900 pm. So he could not get to Mandarin and back in time.

It turned out the the service at the South Asian Restaurant was amazing and it cost us less!!!

I would recommend that place to anyone looking in the Warden Eglinton area. It was called Minerva Tiffin. Excellent service and really...

1st & Last Visit: Went with high expectations based on few references...but shocked to see how buffet menu was managed at 12 pm on a Weekend!! Don't think the staff expected customers coming to their restaurant at all.....Literally "EMPTY" buffet dishes Across the counter for nearly 45 mins when the crowd was still there (Idli, Vada, Mysore Bajji, Dosa, Noodles....open the lids..."ALL" EMPTY (reminded all of us of Mayabazar movie) for 45-50 mins - Not Kidding!!! Embarrassing buffet experience for a family get together...

What was continuously available: Boiled eggs, Tea, Mango Lassi, Chutney's, left over Upma for 1 kid...all throughout 45-50 mins! Lollll...

Note: If at all you visit, please use the tables just Opposite to the dishes ....if you prefer siting inside, please add easily another 30 minutes to your frustration, limited refills come and Vanish in seconds...for obvious reasons! Customers on front tables keep refilling non-stop...new customers sitting inside will keep waiting.......we have been greeted by Empty dishes time & again...Fun & immensely Frustrating experience!!!

Don't go on weekends, feel staff / chef isn't prepared to serve little over 15-20 customers "in all".

Best...Don't opt for buffet, opt for a la carte "if" you have to - won't guarantee faster service even then... if items you ordered are part of buffet menu!!

Hunger, interest, hope to see dishes being refilled all Literally lost in waiting. Ended up paying $85 for 3 adults 1 kid...feel sad to say but, buffet at this place is a Joke - Not at all worth! Could be...
