YOW! WINGS — Restaurant in Brampton

I have not eaten here yet, but YES I will. Why? The owner's comments when he was on CBC 'Marketplace' show ( Season 52, Season 7- called Tipped Off-filmed 2024) . He was concerned about consumers pockets $ and that we should have a choice about tipping and that he - pushes 'no tip' on the payment machine for payers. CBC- Marketplace did a really good special on Canada's increased concerns with tipping culture. Investigations - showed many ways that consumers are being taken advantage of, and that the public think tips are going to staff - when for the majority - if not ALL- $ is going into the business. Large businesses too. The tip expectation- for counter service also ridiculous. Delivery - might be a different story - where $ does goes to driver? Must watch this episode! The owner at YOW Wings Brampton _ DOES not take advantage of this policy. I'd like to visit - where people care about the customer! Thank...

I was traveling from New York, family trip. 3 hungry kids ages 1,3, and 15. 3 hungry adults, the hotel restaurant was ridiculous, so we decided to try something new. We stumbled on Yow! Wings and they were the best!!!!!!! Great service, they helped keep the kids happy and the food was out of this world amazing, and we didn't have to wait long for the food for a party of 6. My little ones loved the wings, and my pickey 15 y/o loved the veggie pizza!!!! There's something there for everyone, whatever your preference and the people were very friendly. I'd definitely recommend family and friends at this place. I'm even considering them catering my little one's pizza birthday party when I head back to Canada to celebrate. delicious, delicious delicious. the first time i went, i had the best festival i ever had in my life - crispy outside, doughy, moist and soft inside (not hard/dry like I often find festival to be cooked). I was beside myself! The wings were fantastic - great crisp - great sauce. Even better? The camaraderie and service. The strawberry sauce for the chicken and waffles was also delicious. Yum yum yum yow. Upon further thought, the only thing I would change is the packaging - it's a lot of styrofoam. Maybe a lined basket instead to ease up on the environmental impact.

Edited to add: They replaced the dine-in options with lined reusable containers! I really appreciate the way they took this into...
