I love Greek, and the food here is okay, its average Greek food. I popped in for a quick lunch. They have lunch combos. I tried to substitute my fries for a salad but I was told that wasn't possible. I was fine paying a little extra I told them, still, it wasn't possible. So instead he changed my order to a salad/drink and a separate chicken souvlaki pita. The total was almost $15.00 after tax, this is lunch, let's remember.
I waited about 10 minutes for my food which was fine. What I received was a tiny little Greek salad on the corner of my big plate, and a small chicken pita with maybe half a skewer or chicken in it, or just a very small full skewer perhaps. The salad portion especially was a joke, I mean, how much does another handful of lettuce cost? I am leaving now and I honestly need to find somewhere else to eat, it just wasn't nearly enough food to even somewhat satisfy me. If I paid $8.00 or even $10.00, I would be cool with the portion. But when you're paying $15.00 for lunch you expect to at least be full and satisfied. When I asked about the size of the salad, they looked at me like I had two heads, and confirmed that the portion was correct, in true "horrible customer service" fashion. That was their opportunity to make things right, but nothing. I went back to my table and ate my tiny salad and pita.
These are the types of situations that can really impact your business. When a concern is brought to you, you need to learn how to handle it. I would have been happy if she said, "Sorry about that sir, please give me your plate, I will top up your salad, it does look a little small", 35 more cents of lettuce is added to my salad, I appreciate that they acknowledged my concern, I'm a little more full, I don't leave a 1 star review, everybody wins. Free lesson on customer service, wake up people.

Read moreTrinity Common location is terrible in every way. Customer service was greatly lacking, management were not friendly nor helpful & the portions were ridiculously small for price we paid for our lunch! My fiancé & I ordered our lunch & asked to be served on the patio. After 27 minute wait (which we were told was going to be 15 mins) our food arrived in a brown paper bag & all the food in takeout containers! I explained to the server that we did not order takeout! We wished to dine on the patio as I explained at the beginning of our order.
Where was our plates, cutlery & water?! For the exorbitant price we paid for lunch I would’ve def gone elsewhere to enjoy our meal on a patio with proper plates, cutlery & Service. I did venture to several of the other restos in the Trinity Common Area purely on exploratory manner & all the guests were being served the proper way on the patios as they should be. Resto patios were allowed in Stage 2 (4 weeks ago) & here they are treating it like it’s still not permitted.
The Manager actually had the audacity to say that he was permitted to serve food in such away as per their discretion & head office. If this is so, more business will be lost at this location as I refuse to eat there again. It’s preposterous to sit on a patio & eat from take out containers & plastic forks/knives & napkins/paper cups blowing away in the wind- when I’ve spent good money on a meal I wished to enjoy on a patio during a pleasant summer day.
Lastly, & most noteworthy 2 ladies departed their patio table & it was not sanitized following their departure nor was ours after we had left as well. This is not acceptable & a definite safety concern as...
Read moreVERY overpriced and horrendous customer service!
First off, we ordered two SALADS and the total was $31! On the menu the prices were listed as $9.50 for the signature Greek salad and the Caesar salad each. Then we decided to add chicken and the totals came out to $14 per salad! An extra $5 for chicken is BEYOND ridiculous! (The chicken was very small) Then the cashier who took our order told us to sit down at one of the tables and HE would bring our food out to us (we asked for it to go). We waited about 20 minutes before we went to the cooks at the other side of the restaurant to ask about the food. One of the employees then proceeds to tell us that the order has been there for however long and she called our name numerous times. We then tried to explain what the cashier originally told us and her only rebuttal was that she called us. Mind you we are on the complete opposite side of the restaurant and it’s a bit noisy in there... so how am I supposed to hear her voice? It didn’t occur to anyone there to check the other side where more customers are seated to see if it was anyone’s order. And the cashier who told us he would bring our food kept walking past us like the food wasn’t ready. I understand that she called us but it is very hard to hear them and there was no other actions they took to see if other customers needed their food! I will NOT be going back there again! Service is absolutely poor and way too much inconvenience and expense for two salads! It was a first and DEFINITELY a...
