Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Brampton

I usually never have a problem with Pizza Pizza, but last night I ordered delivery - my order arrived on time and everything and the food was as usual, but am very disappointed with the service of both the restaurant management and the driver.

I paid via card and when I went to return the machine to the guy, the machine dropped and I guess the battery had slipped and shut down the machine.

I told the driver that it had gone through, but he was adamant that it didn't. When I asked if he could prove it, he literally didn't respond at all and just shoved the machine back in my face (not a single word from him). Not wanting to deal with this garbage in my apartment lobby, I just paid.

Low and behold, I check my online statement and sure enough there was two charges.

This wasn't surprising, I was 95% sure it had gone through - what surprised me is that I wasn't contacted by the company as this error would have been revealed when this driver would have cashed out, and even if the management failed to catch this error, the driver would have certainly known he had in fact double charged me.

I worked in the service industry for a long time and as a delivery guy for a pizza company prior to college. I had thought this was something a big conglomerate like Pizza Pizza would have caught and corrected right away - but of course, I had to fix it for them.

I likely won't be ordering again anytime soon despite what is usually good service. The fact that neither the actual restaurant management or the driver caught/resolved this issue just doesn't sit right with me.

Again, I've worked in big chain restaurant industry and specifically as a pizza delivery driver - double charges don't go "unnoticed", at the end of the day either management or the driver ends up with extra cash when cashing out.

The girl at the front was extremely RUDE My order was so LATE that I had to leave without food.

I placed an online order for just jalapeno poppers, went to the store after 30 minutes( order should have been ready in 20 mins maximum), paid before going to the store, and asked the girl for my order and she told me to wait as she was busy dealing with other customers. I waited, then she started moving around chit chatting with her co worker who was busy eating at the counter. I asked her again that I placed an order online half an hour ago and she was very disrespectful in her response, asked me what my order even was, when I said it was jalapeno poppers she threw some in the fryer right in front of me. This is crazy.

I already arrived late to pick it up, you ask me to wait for other customers and even after waiting you're telling me to wait more and then go make ugly faces. Completely stupid. When I told her you could have made my order before I even arrived, no apology nothing just made faces.

What is the use of ordering online and paying before if I just had to wait at the store? Looking at other reviews I can see that this is not their first time, its a common issue with their location. Do you guys not have a manager? While replying to reviews you guys are copy pasting same response that you care for your customers. You guys have made Pizza Pizza a joke man, Who hired that girl?😂 Doesn't even know the basics its a shame.

We had stopped ordering pizza pizza years ago because we found the quality and taste of their pizza was really going downhill. We recently tried it again from the Trinity Commons location and I must admit we were very pleasantly surprised! We have been spending ridiculous amounts of money on pizza that is so hit or miss from a variety of different pizza places. Often the dough has an "off" taste and I realized it's because many places use tap water to make their dough and tap water, which is full of chlorine, really ruins the taste of pizza. Pizza pizza uses spring water in their dough and it is noticeable! Also the flavour of the sauce is delicious, just the right balance of sweet, salty and spices. An added bonus, this pizza is so affordable. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because our order wasn't ready for pickup and they actually were unable to find our order so we had to wait for a whole new pizza to be made, but the staff was friendly, respectful and apologetic and this issue could have stemmed from the call center so we will definitely order from here again. This is now our new go-to...
