Sai Sweets and Restaurant – 100% Pure Vegetarian Restaurant. It is owned and run by the Nepali people (I may be wrong), as I got the hint from their language when they were talking to each other. 5 Stars from my side for taste, service, and behavior. Please note this is not a fine dining place. I am listing below what I have tried and liked all of them so far. Also, there is an interesting incident and I have narrated that below, please read if you have time. Gujia: - it is the best I have had in GTA so far. Samosas are very good. I ordered Samosa Chaat and really liked it. Papri Chaat: - It is good and fulfilling. Gol Gappe: - They are nice too; I have had better and other places. Chole Bhature: - They are good, you can try. I also got Coconut Gulab Jamun as had to go to a friend’s place, and they also liked it. The service and behavior at this place are awesome. Lady at the counter will treat you so well and make you feel at home. They will help you to decide and ask for your feedback once you are done. I had a rather interested incident with them, narrating it below: - We had dinner at a nearby place and went to Sai Sweets for Gujia as a sweet dish. We reached them around 10:30PM, they close their cash register and billing at 10:00AM. They said sorry, we are closed. I requested we are here only for 2 pcs of Gujia and we are carving for it. The lady at the counter obliged and handed over to us 2 Gujia and did not charge us for the same. When asked, she replied we are closed for the day, and you can pay for it whenever you are here next. I was not sure when we will be able to visit them (I live in Mississauga), she said it is ok. We both were overwhelmed by this behavior as we are also not their regular customers. So, I have to visit them soon and pay off the...
Read moreStopped by at Sai Sweets for a cup of tea during the evening and it was an amazing experience.
I saw vegetarian samosas at the counter and decided to try them. The samosa was really delicious. It was big in size, hot, fresh and crispy. The potato filling inside it was so nicely made. I really enjoyed it and I don’t think I’ve had a better samosa than this before. It came with two chutneys - Green & Tamarind. The green chutney was exceptional. The only thing with the samosa was it had slightly more oil inside which can be an area of improvement in the future but otherwise it was fabulous.
Margaret, the lady at the cash counter was very nice and provided an excellent service. She also introduced me to the Chef who prepared the samosas and I had a nice short chat with him. I did appreciate him for his great culinary skills.
I also ordered tea and trust me, it was the best tea I’ve ever had so far. It was perfectly made with just the right amount of sugar - Not more or less. It was quite special. I was so refreshed with the hot and well made tea.
I also got to try their very popular “Doodh Sagar” bengali dessert which was also exceptionally delicious. It was so fresh and very soft. I was told that this was their hot selling item along with the samosa.
Having such a lovely experience, I am now looking forward to trying more of their other vegetarian dishes the next time I am...

I ordered spring roll today on phone and my husband picked the order. The moment I received it, it was smelling very bad.🤮🤮 Anyone can notice it easily, the person who made it, the person who packed it. The noodles filling was spoiled like it's 3-4 days old or more. When I went to return it, they were just covering it by saying that it's soya sauce or something else. Anyone can say that it was spoiled. Atleast they should accept the mistake.
Just saying sorry doesn't work every time and when you guys Don't mean it.
AND THEY REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT REVIEWS, BECAUSE NO ONE GONNA SEE THOSE OR BELEIVE THOSE.
I am really disappointed, because I trust this restaurant and always recommend my family and friends. This was really unexpected from restaurants like this.
STOP MAKING PEOPLE FOOL. STOP PLAYING WITH OTHER'S HEALTH FOR MORE PROFITS.
For customers - They are selling spoiled food because no one complain or no one can sense it at starting point of spoiling. So customers wake up. Although choice is always personal. Choose your health OR let those restaurants make profits by spoiling...
