Read more★☆☆☆☆ | AVOID THIS PLACE – Manager RUINED Our Son’s Birthday & Mother’s Day
If I could give zero stars, I would.
We visited this restaurant — just minutes from our home — to celebrate a very special day: our son’s 15th birthday and Mother’s Day, with our elderly parents. What we expected to be a warm family dinner turned into one of the most humiliating and upsetting experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant.
My wife, who has a medical condition, carries a personal sipper with filtered electrolyte water that she needs during meals. Not only is this drink not served by the restaurant, but it’s critical for her health. We had barely started our soup when the manager, Nagma, came over and said — rudely and aggressively — that we were “not allowed” to drink from it.
She literally stood next to our table and said:
“I’ll watch you until you stop.”
We explained the situation. She didn’t care. We asked to cancel the order since my wife couldn’t eat without her drink. She refused. We explained again. She still refused. Only after more back and forth did she finally agree to cancel, but the rudeness continued. In the middle of our half-eaten meal, she came back, threw the bill on our table, and told us to leave.
The final insult? One of their own staff members quietly told us this happens often, and that she’s embarrassed to work under this manager. Her words:
“I’m sorry. We’re all frustrated with how she treats guests.”
We tipped her for her honesty — she was the only decent part of this miserable evening.
To the owners: You are losing business because of one person — Nagma. Fix this.
To everyone else: If you care about being treated like a human, let alone celebrating a special day with dignity — DO....
Read moreVisited there yesterday . It’s the first restaurant I have ever seen who don’t serve water . They keep bottles on your table for which they charge . If you ask them for tap water , they just give you empty glasses and tell you to bring water from outside else they would charge . Msg to the OWNER : PLEASE HAVE SOME HUMANITY INSTEAD OF BEING SOO GREEDY FOR THE MONEY . Or change the name of your restaurant. Anybody will have this much humanity that they would serve tap water which is free in CANADA . Cherry on the cake is they would give the empty glasses too after 15-20 mins so that you have drink the bottled water and then they say we have written on the menu that we charge for water bottle.
Starters were good . Ordered munchurian and malai chicken . Both were good.
Now comes the main coarse , ordered Amritsari kulcha. It was totally cold not fresh at all , when I told the server to bring a fresh one, she microwaved it and bought it to us . At the end when I told the other server about the same , she said did you mention that you wanted a fresh one . I mean seriously ? You make all the naans, kulcha, bread in the morning and keep serving the cold one or just keep on microwaving ? Thumb ups to your food and service 👍🏻👍🏻 All the best to the people who are coming back here.. The 2 stars are also for the starter and and the server who atleast asked...
