Subway — Restaurant in Brampton

the staff is friendly enough mostly, but more than once I've been in when the speakers are playing music under a lot of static and they say they don't know how to fix it or turn it off. the very worst part, however, is that due to a recent iron deficiency, I now like to eat ice, so after my meal, I will usually refill my cup with ice only. this is how I discovered that there is often debris in their ice. this happened twice that I noticed. the first time was a black speck stuck in an ice cube, but I just kind of chucked it and figured it was a one off. about a month later I was checking my ice closely and noticed a black speck frozen into the ice as well as what looked like a crumb frozen into the center of an ice cube. my daughter has seen on onion and a mushroom in their ice. thinking of how much debris I may have ingested over time in my pop turns my gut. I've never had this problem...

THE STAFF HERE DISCRIMINATES BASED ON SKIN COLOUR. !!!

I had a very upsetting experience at this Subway. After purchasing food, I asked to use the washroom. The staff member Atul ( not sure that he even told me his real name), first told me it was being cleaned and I had to wait 20 minutes. After waiting, he then claimed they had used a “special liquid” and I would need to wait another hour.

It was clear from his tone and behavior that I was not being treated fairly or respectfully. I strongly felt that I was being discriminated against because of my skin colour. His attitude was unwelcoming and left me feeling humiliated.

No customer should ever face discrimination or be denied basic facilities after making a purchase. I hope Subway management takes this issue seriously and addresses it...

Recently visited this particular subway restaurant to grab a footlong! The place was clean and well organized. Although, the tables were stacked up due to Covid restrictions. As always they have a variety of options to choose from. The lady who prepared my sandwich was courteous and was generous with the amount of veggies she was putting on the sub. The only thing that was annoying was that the cashier was in a hurry to get my payment while the sub was still in the oven and getting ready to be spread with vegetables and the dressings. Overall, a good experience though! I would definitely recommend this Subway branch for the hyegenic environment and delicious options! Don't forget to grab a bag of miss Vickie's chips too.
