I used to rely on this location whenever I was craving a good shawarma, and I never had any complaints….until now. I decided to order online for the first time, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. The website is poorly designed and difficult to navigate. It changed my selected options on its own. I chose delivery, but it was switched to pickup, and the pickup time was changed to 1:55 PM instead of the 3:00 PM time I had selected. I tried calling the store five times to sort it out, but no one answered. When I arrived around 3:15 PM, the place was nearly empty with only 2-3 customers inside. I explained the situation to the woman at the counter and mentioned that I had tried to call multiple times. Her response was dismissive, she claimed it wasn’t her fault and there was nothing she could do. She offered no assistance, and her attitude was unhelpful and rude. After some back and forth, she still refused to make a fresh shawarma, so I asked if she could at least heat it up. The shawarma was extremely soggy, and she barely put it on the grill for 30 seconds before handing it back to me. By the time I realized it was still cold, I was already in my car and didn’t have the time to go back in and deal with more attitude.
I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. The customer service was terrible, there was no effort to make things right, and the food wasn’t even good. Save yourself the disappointment. This place is not worth...
Read moreNewley opened. Place was very clean. Workers were friendly.
I ordered a medium chicken shawarma with $1.00 extra for fries inside. Price came to $12.99. Chose all the traditional toppings and asked for it to be extra hot.
You can see from the picture, the wrap is the size of a 500ml bottle of water. Was expecting it to be a little bigger for 12.99, however it was on the heavy side.
The vegetables were fresh and tasted great, however I'm use to herbs in most shawarma like parley and mint. No take of any. The pomegranate molasses sauce and tahini was great.
The hot sauce however had no taste at all and no heat to it.
Now the issue I have is with the chicken. The meat in the shawarma should be the star of the show. They had a tray on the table with precooked chicken pieces however they were chopped way too small and tiny. The advertisements on social media always show them cut the meat off the spit and put it in big chunks on the wrap.
When eating it, their was no seasoning or flavor to the actual chicken at all. They need to season the meat.
The consistency of the chicken was flaking apart and almost mushy. The only comparison I can make is similar to canned...
Read moreWas really excited to finally try this place. I came with 3 of my children under the age of 7. I ordered 3 bowls and a small French fries. My daughter didn’t want any sauce in her bowl and wanted to keep it separate, so I asked instead of them drizzling the garlic and tahini sauce on top, if they could give it to me on the side. She said she can’t do that and would have to charge to give extra on the side. Again, explained that I don’t want extra, just want the sauce not to be drizzled and kept separate. Not sure what was so confusing, but it became very stressful as she kept saying she would charge me. After getting my daughters bowl, and taking off the sauce there were just a few pieces of chicken In her bowl -even she said why she doesn’t have chicken. The fries were $3.99 for small fries and they were literally like 20 fries inside! I was shocked to see how little they gave. I even made sure and asked the lady if this was all the fries she said yes this is how much small was. Overall experience was not good. Food was not hot either it was closer to room temperature and we dined in. Forks were dirty too. Not returning to this Brampton...
