Wild Wing — Restaurant in Brampton

Contrary to the positive fake reviews for this restaurant on Google, I am sharing the below TRUE experience I encountered at the Wild Wings location on Goreway Drive (10920 Goreway) managed by Amrit, on September 1, 2024.

I ordered online to purchase wings at Wild Wing 10920 Goreway Drive, Brampton. I purchased 3 pounds of wings at approximately $60 for pick up. Upon arriving home, each box weighed not even close to a pound each. The store gave me half of what I ordered and charged me in full. Had I not called to complain, they would have profited from this thievery initially. This is extremely concerning and a dishonest way of running a business. I called the location to complain, and they offered to provide me with my order again in full. Upon arriving to pick up my order for a second time, I was provided once again with half of the order and told that a typical order of 1lb of wings has 5 wings, and they provided me what was ‘left over’ for my order. This is clearly a corporation who does not respect its customers and does not understand the value of providing fair customer service. If they are allowing these practices to take place in their franchises, they clearly have no control on ensuring their brand is managed appropriately. Not bad per say, but the menu could use some more options and the interior vibe and atmosphere does not look like a sit down restaurant where you'd want to have dinner and drinks, but it feels more like a fast food place where you're just meant to get a drive through take out. Very boring vibe.

The menu also has very very few options. It's mostly just a fast food menu with wings, poutine, burgers etc. They do have some better stuff like ribs, calamari etc. But mostly you're gonna have limited food options.

You'd think with a bad atmosphere and limited menu they'd at least offer decent drinks options, but alas Nope. Most of the drinks are very expensive for what they are. Limited domestic drafts, overly sugary drinks that taste like a kid's Kool aid. And once again not a lot of options.

The place itself isn't busy at all, no matter what time you go. It's nearly always empty, save maybe a couple seats taken. There aren't that many seats to begin with.

The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is that the limited food doesn't taste bad. I liked their wings with the hottest sauce, and garlic parmesan seasoning sauce. Also get the boneless chicken poutine as well.

The food and service at this wild wing is great however, the atmosphere lacks completely due to the management of the restaurant. Majority of the employees are on work permit and are forced to work to the terms set by of the owner completely ignoring any social or publicly accepted standards. People are often over served drunk to the point where they can't stand. I brought this issue to notice of one of the bartender and the reply was that they are directed by the owner to serve until the guest says no. additionally, guests misbehave and use disgusting language ( mainly in Punjabi) swearing and cursing which ultimately made my experience somber and the servers along with the managers continued to serve these guest despite them using absolutely garbage language.

The food and and service are great but the overall atmosphere needs improvement, people that misbehave and are overserved need to be dealt with and overserving needs to stop at this establishment.
