Buck's Tavern — Restaurant in Brantford

You're lucky if there's not a fight or someone trying to start one. There's a pool table there but its king of the table style, so as long as you keep winning you can play the table. If someone else is playing and you want next game, you have to play them for the table. The food was good most of the time, sometimes it comes out under done or they forgotten you've even ordered. Owner is very rude, 0/10 on how she speaks to customers. There's not a lot of room to sit. The only good thing they really have going is the karaoke night, but even then so does almost every other bar in the vicinity so.. It's a comfortable bar for the regulars I'm sure. But every time we've gone there, the atmosphere was NOT pleasant, people get very aggressive and a bartender definitely had over served some patrons a time or two leading to people picking fights. I feel bad for the other bartender who is on top of it and makes the place bareable. I do have to say the doormen have been nice and usually on top of any aggression. I do don't recommend this bar if you want to feel at ease at all, Saturdays can be fun...

We love karaoke, which they have every Saturday night. It used to be great. But the guy they have running karaoke now, and has been for some time, is so full of himself. Instead of letting others sing, he and his wife sing. And he is very rude to paying customers. We have gone from going once or twice a month to once every two or three months because of him. Bucks is losing loyale customers...

If you want to go somewhere in Brantford that is welcoming. This is your place. It was a fun experience. Especially after such a horrible experience at another bar in Brantford. Bucks saved Date Night! Very reasonable price drinks. Very nice staff. Quick to get your drinks to you. A little gem that is worth...
