Maria's Original Pizza — Restaurant in Brantford

I’ve heard very good comments on this family owned pizzeria & Italian foods. Have tried others in Brantford, ON, and they were mostly all good. Had a person who was employed here, and mentioned this place was good. Ordered a 10” small with fresh mushrooms and pepperoni. Wife ordered the (1) serving of lasagna (generous portion). Ordered the pie as thin crust, it was cooked perfect, golden brown on bottom and nice Italian sauce on it, plus plenty of mozzarella cheese melted on top. The lasagna was very tasty, meat (think mixture pork/beef) with nice Italian sauce, plenty of cheese throughout. Very pleasant and friendly staff, order takers, counterstaff and the chefs. VERY UNWELCOMING AND RUDE

Me and my friend visited this family operated place for the first time and were slapped in A%$ with tons of attitude from, both, mother and daughter. They neither greeted us nor exhibited a friendly behaviour. They were both highly agitated just by seeing our faces, apparently. When we decided to split the bill between us two, the mother said she couldn't take this anymore and just left with anger and a frustrated face then the daughter (the BBW with piercing) came and banged the debit machine on the counter in front of us like we were her slaves on leash desperately waiting to pay her money. The pizza was okay, but it didn't worth the experience. I will not go back again, and I neither recommend any of my friends...

I decided to order pizza for friends because it's quite a famous place in Brantford. The first is the unfriendly lady at the reception, no menu, long waiting time and writing down the order number in a notebook (?!). It's terribly hot and mega in the hall!!! MEGA!!! dirty! Let me understand. But when I received the pizza and tried it, I was sincerely disappointed with the dough, the taste, and the sauce. It's just not tasty, very salty and low on cheese. The price is quite high for me - $24 for XL. Everyone makes their own choice. I will never come back here and I do not recommend it to anyone. P.S. a pizza from the fridge can...
