Drive thru is fine, but took my family into the dining room for the first time and it was pretty bad.

Ordered on the screen ourselves, saw our number flash on the screen saying it was being prepared, but it was quickly cleared off the screen for some reason. I waited and watched as they prepared orders. At least six people who came in and ordered after me in the dining room were served ahead of my family. I also saw orders of similar size/items being prepared quickly and being processed through the drive thru window. During this time, our paper ticket was visible on the clipboard area where the workers manage the flow of orders.

At the 12 minute mark, I showed one of the workers my receipt and that it had been over 12 minutes at that point. She offered nothing, but to say that they were understaffed and had experienced a rush. She then prioritized our order (finally), but tried to give me two breakfast burritos that I had witnessed sitting on a serving tray for the previous 10 minutes.

She reheated one of the burritos and remade one… which was a strange choice. Then we later discovered the kids pancakes were fridge cold. So all four orders were done inadequately.

I asked to speak to a manager and to obtain the contact info for the franchisee. They did not want to give me the franchisee information, and instead said I could wait (longer!) to speak with the manager. They said the manager was busy doing “food safety stuff”. I had to insist and ask multiple times before they would call her over.

When the manager finally came over, I spoke calmly and explained what had happened. She teared up and said they were short four people and didn’t expect to be busy that morning. I said “I understand, that’s why I’m trying not to sound frustrated with any of you, but we aren’t responsible for your staffing and that doesn’t explain why so many were served quickly and ahead of us”. She (Mel) gave me four happy meal coupons.

I didn’t really appreciate the gaslighting and crying when we brought forward legitimate problems and concerns. I was very purposeful to not use a tone that was sharp or unkind, so I am not sure how the manager made it about them being the victims somehow. I guess I appreciate the coupons, but I hope the franchise staff see this review so that they can address these customer service and operations concerns.

The whole reason we went in was so we could all sit down together and eat, without one of the parents having to run around. I didn’t get to eat with my family as a result of multiple trips back to the counter to return cold food. Now instead, we will get to go back and pay full price on adult meals next time and have free happy meals (yay?). This isn’t an even trade, and our meal should have just been...

So unfortunately the McDonald's on Gretzky (which is great btw go there instead,) had a power outtage or something, I had to come to this location. I was told last time they don't serve breakfast past 10 so I didn't even bother trying, instead I ordered a smoothie. Surprise! They don't do those now either. Fine sure whatever, so I order a coke and a sprite. There was a vehicle already at the window ahead of me, the car behind me didn't appear to even order as they just pulled in right behind me. I get to the window and I am greeted by someone in a sweater. Not 100% sure they even worked there but its late I could care less about a uniform. She says wait, you ordered a sprite and coke right? Like 30 seconds ago before I pulled up to the window yea. Thought it was an odd question, again seeing as the car behind me just followed me up to the window (and then right out of the drive thru without stopping.) So I get out on the road, go to take a sip of the coke and realize I have been handed a cup almost entirely full of ice, and what I can only describe as stale tv static. I opened the lid and there is what looks like tap water from Flint MI. Absolutely disgusting. I immediately try the sprite, same thing. Just carbonated water. The only positive thing about the experience is the girl at the window was nice, which was a change from my last experience. This location is the absolute worst, and something seriously needs to change. I expected it was going to be not the best but like come on....

Came to this location for Medium Americano and as I was giving my order at drive thru for Medium Americano the order taker said it will be 3 dollar and some cents, I said it can’t be that expensive as everyday I buy from the McDonald which is near to my house charge $2.30 for medium Americano. Some other order taker came on the drive thru speaker and said these are the prices and I don’t know what you talking about. So I requested for medium black coffee and when came to the window to pay, I requested the cashier if I can talk to the lady who was taking my order as I want to show her on my McDonalds app that I have ordered Americano before too and the price is different. Cashier said she can’t talk to me right now so you can go to the second window. I moved to second window and requested can I please talk to that lady. Some other team member standing over there Jane or Karen (don’t remember what she told me her name) said No in a very rude way , I asked sorry, why can’t I talk to her, she said we don’t allow our employees to talk to the customer. I said what are you saying? Do you understand, please repeat yourself what you just said. Anyways she stayed rude without any reason the whole time. She shouldn’t be serving the customer with...

Some other order taker came on the drive thru speaker and said these are the prices and I don’t know what you talking about. So I requested for medium black coffee and when came to the window to pay, I requested the cashier if I can talk to the lady who was taking my order as I want to show her on my McDonalds app that I have ordered Americano before too and the price is different. Cashier said she can’t talk to me right now so you can go to the second window. I moved to second window and requested can I please talk to that lady. This morning was likely our last visit, after my partner was handed frozen mangled breakfast burritos, that we had to pull over and wait an extra 10 minutes for to begin with... The manager was kind enough to provide him a refund and a coupon for another breakfast, as well as an entertaining rip into the kitchen staff, but it's kind of ridiculous how often things like this happen.

Another bad McDonald’s’s bad branch! Took 5 minutes for staff member to show up help me place my order. I was already 5 minutes in line before that. I've only lived in the neighbourhood since December and this restaurant has gotten my order incorrect more times than not. The only thing that's ever been good is the coffee. This morning was likely our last visit, after my partner was handed frozen mangled breakfast burritos, that we had to pull over and wait an extra 10 minutes for to begin with... The manager was kind enough to provide him a refund and a coupon for another breakfast, as well as an entertaining rip into the kitchen staff, but it's kind of ridiculous how often things like this happen.
