I went to this restaurant late at night to satisfy a simple craving for a muska bun. Before placing the order, I clearly asked how it would be served, and I was told it would be buttered buns. Sounds simple enough, right? What I actually received was probably the most bizarre version of a muska bun I’ve seen in my life — burger buns with sesame seeds on top and just a light stroke of melted butter inside the buns. That’s it. No soft butter, no richness, and definitely no resemblance to an actual muska bun. Honestly, if your chef doesn’t know the basics of a simple dish, the least you can do is look it up on YouTube before selling it. This was not just disappointing, it felt like a joke. If you’re going to charge customers for something, then please, make it right. This was a waste of money and a ruined craving. Strongly recommend avoiding this place if you’re looking for food satisfaction. I would have given negetive stars if it would have been an option. The...
Read moreMumbai Express in Brantford has completely won us over! We ordered the Chana Bhatura, and it was hands down one of the best we’ve had. The bhaturas were perfectly puffed, golden, and crispy on the outside while still soft and airy inside — just how they should be! The chana was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of spice and tang. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite.
We also tried their Mayo Cheese Sandwich, and wow — another 10/10! It was creamy, cheesy, and so satisfying. Comfort food done right! Forget the picture though.
The presentation was great, service was warm and friendly, and the vibe of the place felt modern yet cozy. A true gem in Brantford for anyone craving authentic Indian street food. We’ll definitely be coming back for...
Read moreWent in very excited hoping to get some real good food however, when we got there, nothing was up to our expectations. Firstly waited 5+ minutes at the counter before someone even came outside of the kitchen to acknowledge us. Then we ordered a thali and were told that out of the long list of subjis, only one was available because it was “only day 6 of opening.” So we ended up getting just channa masala. No restaurant ever opens and only has half the menu available and if that is the case then put a notice stating that. We ordered puff, they didn’t have it either so we went for a Frankie and vada pav. The vada pav was literally falling apart inside, the potatoes were separated from the batter. The Frankie was Cole slaw and unflavoured potatoes in a roti. Definitely not worth a...
