Wild Wing Brantford — Restaurant in Brantford

I am a regular here. The wings are very pricey but I still come once a week at least because the wings are delicious. However the owners need to be on the same page. On the website it says specials and for the past 3 weeks when I spoke to the one guy I was able to get that special. Then if you speak to the lady she says no you can still get that “special” but it doesn’t come with fries and is only for online through skip the dishes. Which doesn’t make it a special anymore even though they say it is a special. So myself and my sister have ordered for years and we know that every time we will be told something different depending who we talk to. I was ordering 7 lbs of wings so I think I should be able to get the order of fries with it that is advertised online and that the one guy gives you when you talk to him he says it’s a regular special. Then the other lady says it does not come with fries “the maverick” then it shouldn’t be advertised that way also other locations do include the fries with that. You would think they would treat a customer better who comes so regularly. So I won’t be returning to this location until the owners and staff can treat customers better and all be on...

I was a long time patron of the Wild Wing on Lynden Road, used to go at least every other week. Management must have changed along the way as this place now has really declined.

We ordered 2 pounds of wings the other day, and when leaving the store noticed they were very light in weight. Out of curiosity having a food scale nearby decided to weigh the portions. One of the containers (hot wings) weighed 9 ounces and the other container of wings weight 11 ounces. In total this is only 20 ounces, just barely over a pound for what should be 2 pounds of wings. Two pounds is 32 ounces not 20!!

When calling in about this, the girl on the phone was apologetic and kind. She contacted her manager, who called us back who then pointed out that these are "SERVINGS" not "POUNDS".. If you actually want a POUND of wings, go somewhere else like Wing Master.. Not only are the flavors better, they have bigger meatier wings and actual ONE POUND PORTIONS.

They're menu is misleading, and the wings are very small, but the flavor was ok.. Also to note the LG onion rings had 9 onion rings in the container. If you want great flavor and good value, go to Wing Master!!

We ordered delivery on a Friday night and were told it would be $7. That seemed expensive but we asked for delivery anyway because my husband didn’t want to leave the house. Over one hour later we still hadn’t heard anything. Called the restaurant and she said the guy had left already. If it was going to be so long, we should have been told but it was also our responsibility to ask so that’s that. Delivery guy shows up, and says delivery is actually $9. The girl apparently misquoted when she said $7 as it’s “costing the restaurant more than they thought for the new system”. Not really our problem so not sure why he said that. Then he actually asked for a tip for delivery. Never ordering delivery from there again which will limit our want to actually eat here. We used to order when they did Skip the Dishes but now I guess charging $9 for delivery makes more sense for them? The wings taste very good but are rather small.
