Its 1am on a dark and foggy fall night when your electric car start alerting you that it's running out of juice, and fast! You won't make it home, let alone to the next supercharge station. Frantically your friends try to find the nearest level 2 charger. At last; one is but 2 kilometers off-route. You take the exit. "Where even are we?" You think. "Will we even make it home before sunrise?" You find the charger and hook up, but at least an hour will pass before you have the charge to make it home. The crisp winter air starts to nip at your exposed, shivering hands. "Why didn't I pack a winter jacket and gloves?" You think to yourself. You're going to freeze out here unless.. "what's that?" - in the distance you spot a few lights... the Edgar Hyperlodge. Like a mirage it calls to you with promises of warmth, local craft beer and uneven dance floors. You and your friends make your way over to the pub, feeling warmer already. When you open the door you're greeted with a friendly bouncer and reasonably amplified beats. You look at your friends with a sort of "we have no other options" kind of face and grab a cold one from the uninterested bartender. With your instruments on your backs you squeeze your way through the sweaty crowd and find a relatively clean table in the far reaches of the rave den to settle in for a game of cards you'll not...
Read moreThis was the one of the only place open late at night in Bromont, so we decided to give it a try.
This place looked nice with the exterior terrace and we get in line to get served.
Very happy this was kid friendly.
We ordered a bunch of items from the now virtual menu due to covid .
Overall the food was tasty with a bit of misses.
Looking at our ceasar tour rating 🍹 this place gets a 2.3 out of 5 stars.
Rating: Food - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (there are some improvements to be done with the food, the mac & cheese was not fully at par, the calamari were decent the test was excellent. The cesar was a missed opportunity. )
Price - $$ the price is relatively decent compared to the big portions given.
Service - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't know what it was, but the service was missing attention. Missing utensils, a bit zoned out
Location - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ prime location easy to get to.
Interior decor & terrace - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the inside had nothing special, the outside is definitely more appealing. It looks like a lodge outside.
Overall, this is a recommended place to be, you can expect passing much time with friends on the terrace getting some drinks.

Read moreOn our way back from a day trip in the Eastern Townships, my husband and I stopped for supper to take a break from the drive. We picked this place completely at random — and what a surprise! The food was absolutely amazing. The service was perfect. And the terrasse was wonderful. Live music started as we were leaving the place around 8PM.
We had the sparkling sangria, a glass of cider, the rillette de saumon, cold nachos with tuna tataki, poutine with bavette, and a crème brûlée for dessert. We also really enjoyed the egg roll chips — such a fun and tasty touch! Altogether, it came to $109, which we found very reasonable considering the quality and generous portions.
We’ll definitely be back to try the octopus entrée — it was sold out, but it sounded delicious.
The service was excellent too: one person took our order, another brought the food, and someone else came by to check if everything was to our liking. We loved that approach — it felt well-organized and probably made their jobs easier.
Even though we live an hour away, we’d happily make the trip again just to eat there and...
