Restaurant Babar — Restaurant in Bromont

Our whole family decided to have a post-Christmas lunch at Babar’s in Bromont. The restaurant is located right on Shefford Street in town. There is convenient parking at the back of the restaurant but it is limited and somewhat tight. We parked on the main street, which proved to be an easier exit. One of our daughters made a reservation and we were seated on the top of two floors. Amongst the various dishes that were ordered, our family went for the fried cauliflower (excellent), charcoal BBQed halloumi (very original and very tasty), falafel plate (very good), and the lamb kebab plate. All the dishes were excellent and everyone was very pleased with their meals. The service was prompt and attentive and finished plates were promptly removed from the table, which was a small touch I really appreciated. Firstly congratulations to the owners for having opened such a unique and rare restaurant in our area. The ambiance of this restaurant is phenomenal and the attention to detail is something that we really appreciated. The cocktails were very well made and full of flavor(Medjool old fashioned & Muay Thai)

The food was spectacular and the flavors were on point, one would have to go as far as Montreal to have this quality of Middle Eastern inspired cuisine. We indulged in the All dressed hummus with filet mignon, pomegranate, and pine nuts. The Grilled Haloumi served over a salad with dates, radish and a very tasty dressing. And the piece de résistance, the Shish Taouk plate with garlic potatoes, pickled vegetables and tabouleh and the absolute creamiest garlic sauce that I have ever had. Gotta love the garlic sauce 🙏

My experience at Babar Restaurant was absolutely outstanding. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and incredibly fresh — you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.

The staff were impeccable — well-dressed, polite, and genuinely kind. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking on us several times throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect.

The ambiance was stunning — elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and inviting. You can tell the restaurant is run like a fine-oiled machine, with every detail carefully considered from start to finish.

I honestly can’t wait to visit Bromont again just so I can come back to Babar and try more dishes from their menu. A truly top-tier...
