L'Œufrier (Bromont) — Restaurant in Bromont

The 2 first times I went in this last year, I was very satisfied, good portions, good price... Except for the noice, it is a very loud place, I have a hard time having a conversation when it is full...

But I went back yesterday. The menu has been changed. The prices uped, (I know everything went up... still) The portions seem to be diminished.

I ordered a guacamoli spread... so you get 1 single silice of bread! 1. 1 poached egg 2 bacons strips 5 pièces of lettuce Guacomoli spread

And a small fruit salade.. like small.. maybe 10 small pieces of fruit. And I payed 15.99$.. so 16$ plus tax

I was very surprised by the portion, so much so I asked the waitress if she forgot something on my plate.

The service is very long, took about 15 minutes to get sugar and milk for my tea.

So clearly I am not happy for that price. Too bad...

Soon we won't be able to eat out... then all these places will go out of business and...

Overall very good, minor details were missing. For example, best to bring spoons and sugar before the coffee. myself and the table next to ours, waited a bit and when we asked our server, it was a it's not my job response they will bring them soon. ( But in a very polite way we could see she was overwhelmed).

Also pay attention, when customers are enjoying their meal and coffee, wait until they are finished to pay, seemed a bit rushed and there were tables available and no one at the door waiting. Also was 1 hour before closing. Just tips, I know it's busy and we are all short staffed. Overall though kind staff, helpful, just minor details. I would...

While eating, nobody mentioned anything out of politeness. Afterwards, on the drive home, we spent the next twenty minutes laughing about how bad it was. Four out of four diners agreed that it was the worst breakfast ever. Cold and flavourless, applied to both the food and the ambience. Four different breakfasts ordered, four abysmal results.
