The food at this place is always amazing i love their griot. Tender and all eatable not tons of pieces of fat on the meat. The rice is so yummy and flavourful and the sauce is amazing! They unfortunately forgot to give me pikliz 😭. The service is sometimes good sometimes bad its always hit ir miss today was a miss. When it came time to pay the girl never said the price and just starred at me with my 50$ bill in my hand. Unfortunately when i had pulled out the bill out if my coin purse the side ripped a little and she held up my bill and made sure to show me it was ripped she didn't seem like she was gonna accept it and i kindly said sorry the whole bill is there you can tape it up, mind you it hadnt ripped off completely the whole bill was there. First we get there, it seems we are bothering the gentleman taking our order. Give me a big sigh when i ask them what type of can liquor they have after i was told that there is no ice tea. I took the beef taso which was good, the rice was also good but the oily salad was no good and my friend took a griot. We were told to wait 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, im told that the order is still not ready, i get back to my car. Another 15 minutes pass and finnaly the food is ready. Important to note that WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS... tasso was 17$ with tax, i had about 6-8 small pieces of beef nothing was hidden beneath the rice...extremely disappointing.

IN CONCLUSION: The food was fine but way overpriced. Unless you want to wait half a hour to eat and receive attitude from the cashier GO...

The roasted chicken was good, about a year ago. Now it's tasteless the packaging is horrible. Drove from Candiac to pick this up only to get back home to wash my floors, table and car carpets...

I guess it's the last time I'll be going there... Sorry guys, something has got to give.

The front guy or cashier seems bored beyond belief and I guess that's why my chicken was not even in the foil bag unsealed hence the chicken juice leaking all over the place. sigh
