This Bakery/Store is an absolute asset to Burlington. They offer Retail Groceries from the UK. Teas, Chocolate & other English cooking items. The Bakery coolers are amazing - to quote O. Wilde "The only way to get rid of Temptation ~ is to yield to it." You cannot resist when you stop in this place. Often buy the Chicken Pot pies and reheat on low for Dinner to make a hectic day easier. We buy the Sausage rolls and divide up for Company when having Drinks. After gorging on Victoria sponge cake in England each time we visit - we have come home only to the disappointment you cannot find a Bakery in Hamilton, Burlington Oakville who even knows what we are talking about. We have had it twice in the last two months, The Minis are great as a self treat and we ordered a large one ahead of time for a Friend's birthday ... was a huge hit! Fresh Creme only here and priced right compared to some cakes we have usually ordered for triple the cost. CANNOT recommend this place enough! And although recently moved to Hamilton - it is well worth the effort to head back to Burlington and stock up. Clerks are very polite & friendly to boot! Not sure when we'll get back to London... but at least we have a go-to place for comparable Baked Goods! Going to surprise some English cousins on Mom's side with one of these Bad Boys this summer!

We came in from Caledon May 11th.Stopped in to pick up some bits and bobs. Id just had a surgical procedure so couldnt be bothered saying at the time, but two staff members both crabby as hell and older woman at cash was pretty bloody nasty. Then we get home to find the cottage pie a Year out of date! " BIN" loaf of bread we bought was covered in black mold next morning. Ive alway traveled in to Burlington to stop.here.Not any more!

My wife and I spotted this small location in Burlington called British Pride Bakery and we believe that this place would be great to buy good bread. No, there was no bread. We decided to buy a large Pork pie...what a disappointing experience. No good taste horrible texture and smell. (Pictures attached) The Raisin Scones...no comments. Overall ratings from me "I DO NOT RECOMMEND ".

July 29, 2023 at approximately 4:40PM. British Pride Bakery located at 451 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7R 3L8

Very rude staff (one person). I was deliciously eyeing all the baked goods near the front counter. As my wife was deciding in what she wanted, I told the clerk my selection. I originally wanted 2 items, and then I added a third. When I did, they got extremely snotty and said, " I now have to get a bigger box because you changed your mind!" I politely said that you knew we hadn't finished making our mind up because my wife has yet to decide what she wants. I was so upset with this person I had to immediately pay and get out of the store before I said something I would regret.

To the owner of the British Pride Bakery company, I suggest all of your staff to be trained to be courteous and helpful to your customers, which are your bread and butter.

I guarantee this is one place of business. I will never step foot in again or order...

We visited the Burlington store and purchased several items for family/friends and ourselves. The pies and pasties are delicious! My favourite is the Scotch eggs. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The ladies even wrote the names of the items on the various bags to help me remember which person received the correct food item. They are clean and organized. There was such a wonderful assortment of British food items I remembered from my childhood which I purchased. They even had retro Walkers crisps: lamb & mint flavour from the 1960's! Wonderful shop and we will definitely be returning there on our next trip to Burlington. Plus they are in a nice area. Thank you British Pride Bakery, you made...
