First the positives: The chicken was fresh, very well prepared and tasty. The Mala spicy was hot but not ridiculous hot and very enjoyable. My issue with this business is their online order system and the way it adds cost for things. It started out when ordering the Cheese Chicken Buldok.

There is an automatically checked off box to add rice cake to it for $3. I found it and decided to keep the rice cake anyway but even when adding this the container was less than half full. The portion size looks smaller than the pic and considering it is a "meal" on their menu, it isn't meal size.

We ordered a 2 in 1 box and when we went to pick flavours, we saw that only Golden Fried Chicken is available for that price. Every other flavour is +$1 per. The portion was as advertised and it tasted great but I still feel like that is chiseling on a combo box.

The prawn stick is not 4 pieces, it is 2 pieces cut in half. By their logic you could cut them in half again and advertise 8 pieces.

My final issue will be received differently by many. When checking out, they have a default setting of 18% gratuity preselected. No discount for ordering online or pick up. Preselected 18% (and that's after tax) suggested tip for the privilege of doing all their work? That's simply greedy. How a business represents themselves tells a story about how they wish to be seen in my opinion. That presetting is not geared towards being fair with the customer. Third order: Gangjeong boneless chicken Galbi Q boneless chicken Golden fried boneless chicken Honey garlic wings

The Golden fried had a bit of spice but wasn't spicy. It was better than expected and not just sauceless chicken.

Honey garlic wings were huge (some might be bone in thighs?) and pretty tasty. Not spicy. More recent orders were not quite as giant.

Second Order: Gangjeong boneless chicken Galbi Q boneless chicken Assorted cheese balls

Both chicken were great. Gangjeong sweet and flavourful. Galbi Q has a bit of heat but lots of flavour.

Not a fan of the plain cheese balls. Sweet potato and chocolate were fine and the kids loved them, but I think they're more novelty than actually good.

Galbi Q was great. Not very spicy at all. Biggest hit with kids.

Secret Sauced was spicy despite menu saying it was just sweet. Kids thought it was too spicy. I've had a similar sweet sauce from Chicko Chicken and liked it more, so next time I'll get the gangjeong sauce next time.

Gangnam chicken was good but not super flavourful. A bit spicy but not too much. Kinda like a upgrade to the classic chicken as opposed to the super saucy Secret chicken. Others didn't like it as...

I’ve ordered online through BB.q Chicken app approx. 8-10 times + through Uber/Door Dash 8-1p times over the last 12 months exact. I have challenges through one of the 2 third parties mentioned above. Best service was always when dealing with the location directly 100%!!! Although they may not outright mention, their actions speak to how genuinely kind and honest they are. Their behaviour of always being respectful to me as a customer speaks volumes for a genuine business owner. It is a rarity to find ..especially this day in age.

Long story short. I ordered directly with them through the app. Their tracking system with a 3rd party for delivery claimed they delivered at 10:15Pm on a friday night. At about 10:40 pm (1.15 hrs of ordering I called to follow up). No question or doubt from them towards me saying I did not receive. They offered to resolve quickly while offering free items to compensate for the inconvenience.

Free offer declined as I did not want to accept considering the restaurant not to blame and further reduce their margins.

The owner themselves delivered a fresh new order within 20 mins to fulfill and re-assure customer confidence in their brand and location.
