I rarely leave reviews, but unfortunately, this is my first negative one. My fiancé and I visited Sun Tea tonight, October 4, 2024, around 7-7:15 PM. We were excited to try this location, smiling as we looked at the menu. However, the experience quickly became disappointing due to the attitude of the cashier.
While I was looking at the menu, I asked the cashier a few questions, but he seemed uninterested and visibly annoyed. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he might be tired so it’s okay.
The first question I asked was which category of drinks could be substituted with a milk alternative. He said "fresh milk" in a tone that made it clear he was irritated. Again, I let it go, understanding he might be having a rough day.
The second question I asked was whether they could make drinks in the fresh milk category hot, since the menu didn't specify, although I saw hot cups available. He simply replied, "No, we don't make hot drinks."
When it came time to order, I asked for a Sago Taro Fresh Milk with oat milk. He said, "No, we don’t have that," and then looked at his co-workers and laughed. They all laughed…. He probably thought we wouldn’t notice… If Drink was not available, I wished they marked it as unavailable or sold out, so I found this reaction inappropriate and upsetting.
Feeling uncomfortable, I decided to order something else and chose the Sugar Pearl Matcha with oat milk. It was clear to me that the cashier noticed my change in tone, as his attitude suddenly improved. He even offered, "Would you like to make that hot?" I replied, "But you said you can't make it hot, right? So no, it's okay."

Read moreI ordered UberEats from here and the driver forgot to pick up my order (he had 2 uber pick ups from here and only picked up the other order for another customer) when the driver arrived he apologized for his mistake and said I could contact Uber eats for a refund. One thing that is very strange is that the Suntea staff would have seen that my order was marked as picked up and disappeared from their Uber tablet but the order was still at the store they never attempted to contact the driver or Uber eats to say the order wasn’t picked up at all they also would have seen my order sitting there for a long time and never thought to check the updates on my order. I first called Suntea and asked if they could call Uber eats and inform them of the situation they said they can’t call them and told me to call myself even though as a restaurant on Uber platform they have a way of contacting Uber merchant support. Basically they just don’t care at all about the customer experience and can’t be bothered to help. I ordered a coconut water drink and asked for no ice due to health reasons. The staff told me that without ice, the cup couldn’t be filled. I politely asked if they could top it up with either more coconut water or water—I was even very clear that I didn’t mind any impact on the taste and would take full responsibility. However, the staff insisted it was against store policy and were very reluctant to help. I spent over 5 minutes calmly explaining that I simply wanted a full drink, yet they still refused until I asked them to double-check with the person making the drink.
Eventually, they agreed to fill it with more coconut water, but the entire situation felt unnecessarily rigid and unfriendly.
Additionally, the Labubu campaign was misleading. It wasn’t clearly stated that you had to enter a draw first in order to even have a chance to get Labubu.
