Aujla's Restaurant Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Calgary

I came in here yesterday, with a friend of mine to try out the food because I had just moved around the corner, and I was blown out of the water! We started with some calamari with some homemade tzatziki, which was creamy, and out of this world! And the calamari was cooked to perfection with green peppers, which gave it another amazing flavor. Then I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was again out of this world! The flavours in the pulled pork itself was top-notch and its definitely something I’ll be trying again. My friend had the club sandwich and it was so much he couldn’t even finish it, so I got to take it home and finish it and it was, of course amazing! I had to go back today to try their famous butter chicken because I mean, how do you not when it’s on the menu and let me tell you folks these people know how to cook! The flavours in the butter chicken, and the rice was out of this world!!!! I will definitely be a regular here and I highly recommend for everybody to go and check this place out!! The service was beyond amazing she was the sweetest server ever and her name was Avneet! Thank you so much for the beautiful service and the amazing recommendations! I am giving this one star only for the cleanliness of the place other than that the foodservice, customer service and quality of the food was really worst. I went there last Sunday with my family, and we ordered just 2 starters which were okay and in the main course we just ordered two dishes, they took almost more than half an hour to bring those two dishes on our table. They were not busy at that time, just two or three people sitting on the other table. After a long time, we finally had our food on our table, but honestly, when we tasted the food it was horrible, really awful..... I think they completely forgot to add salt and other necessary spices. It was tasteless, it smells bad. It was a really really bad experience, it was our first time at that restaurant and for sure the last time. Not going back there again because there are lots of other better Indian restaurant who are serving the best services to their customers. NOT...
