I was there for the Oilers game. It was pretty busy. I was trying to get our waitress's attention but she could not hear me. I was sitting next to the till and another waitress was right beside us, so I asked her, if I could order some food or tell our waitress to order some for us. To my shock, she proceeded to yell and swear at me!! Replying..... "I'm busy and I'm not your FN waitress! I WAS IN SHOCK!!.. THAT A WAITRESS WOULD ACTUALLY TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMER LIKE THAT, MIND-BLOWING 🤯🤯 All the customers around our tables were staring at her screaming at me. It was very unprofessional and she could have handled it differently. But our waitress was great and made tried to make it right and offered to buy me fries. I at that point I was so uncomfortable and declined. But she did try to rectified the situation. But didn't want to be there no longer! ...And it's too bad because I recently Just lost a few family members and haven't been out for a very long time... and I thought I would have some fun watching the playoff game with friends.... that was not the case!

We came in with a group of 5 on New Year's Day, I haven't been here in a couple of years so we decided to come for some drinks and food. I was impressed by the atmosphere and the food we all had was excellent. The issue we all had was the service, I honestly haven't seen such poor service in an extremely long time. There were several servers on and the place had maybe 30 customers at the most during our stay. One of us brought empty glasses to the bar and 3 of us had to go up to request another round. The side of the bar was full of servers having what appeared to be great conversations, but we were left unattended for significant amount of time during our stay. We were going to order more food but decided that it wasn't worth the effort. I rarely complain about service, but this was truly shocking. Our tab ended around 500$ to 600$ and left a bit confused how that can be acceptable. Food is excellent, but the service needs to be addressed if they want to bring in new customers.

We went into our evening with pretty high expectations given other people ratings. When we got in I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere inside, really warm lighting, lots of TVs. Where things started to turn was with our food orders. It took an hour and twenty minutes to get our food, apparently there was an issue with their computer. Our server was apologetic but unfortunately when we did get our food none of it was very good. The sandwich and burger were told and the bottom bun and bread were soggy from sitting for too long. I had the Caesar salad wrap which which was really bare bones, shredded lettuce, chunks of chicken and a bit of dressing, it was pretty bland. Other people got the club sandwich and it Tatar’s like fish? I don’t know if this was just an off night for them, but we were all pretty disappointed.

If you are into Surf N Turf, look no further than Saturday nights here at Austin's Bar in Canyon Meadows Shopping Mall on Elbow Drive and Anderson Rd. The steaks are cooked perfectly and the lobsters are surprisingly succulent. I would not have guessed that a neighborhood pub would have the level of quality that this place does have! The server was absolutely on top of refills on drinks. She never let our drinks get below 1/3 without asking if we wanted another one. The food came out super hot and tasty! What a nice surprise to find this place. My friend made a great suggestion to come here and now I am suggesting the same.
