Attended a birthday dinner with a party of around 15 people. The waitress seemed frazzled right off the bat but it was understandable given the large party. When she took our orders she wrote them down on little scraps of paper so she could keep the bills split properly. This is where things started going down hill. Various waitresses were bringing out dishes but many of them were incorrect and everyone was confused. The main waitress then came out and started yelling at everyone, insisting she wrote everything down just as we ordered it. She kept implying that either the kitchen got it wrong or we were wrong about what we ordered. After about 20 minutes most of the correct food was out. My daughter and I were still waiting though. Two different waitresses tried to bring us some pasta dishes that no one had ordered. Then the main waitress came out with those dishes and insisted that these were what we ordered from her. Nevermind that she had repeated our correct orders back to us, I don't get why she felt the need to argue with us. It wasn't like we were being combative. We were being patient and trying to enjoy our time with family. Anyway after another 20 minutes we received our orders, chicken tenders and fries for my daughter and a salad for me. Unfortunately my salad didn't have the grilled chicken added. That took another 10 minutes to come out. The salad was ok but the lettuce was wilted and tasted kind of bad. My daughter said her chicken was overcooked and my husband's pasta was pretty bland. Everyone else had finished eating by the time was got our food and wanted to move on to the cake. Once cake was done my mom really wanted to leave because all the chaos had made her very anxious. We couldn't though because our waitress was stood at the till trying to split up the orders for at least 20 minutes. My aunt went up to try speed things along at which point the waitress asked if she could just do one big bill. We said no so she ran off to get someone else to split the bills and we didn't see her again. This waitress obviously wasn't experienced enough to handle a big group. However, I was more disappointed that there didn't seem to be any management around to try making things right. The other waitresses were vaguely apologetic but didn't seem comfortable to take over to try improving the situation. The waitress who finally checked us out just laughed nervously when we complained and offered to remove the auto gratuity. I agreed but I feel like that was unfair for the other waitresses who were doing their best. The food was mediocre, the atmosphere was chaotic and the service was terrible. I...
Read moreThis is an email i wrote to boston pizza guest services. Hope all of you are ready for a "great" read:
After attending a comedy show at Grey Eagle, we decided to grab some food and drinks, expecting a relaxed and enjoyable time. To our surprise, we were literally the only customers in the entire restaurant. Naturally, we assumed that with such a light customer load, the service would be excellent. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite.
We ordered nachos with ground beef, cactus cut potatoes, and two orders of wings. A few moments later, we decided to upgrade the cactus cut potatoes to a Triple Play, which, given that it was Appy Hour, ended up being significantly more expensive. No big deal—until the food arrived.
The cactus cut potatoes were burnt beyond being edible. We pointed this out to our server, Anna, who brought a fresh plate after checking with the kitchen. The nachos were also burnt, but more concerning was the fact that they had barely any beef on them—for context, there were about 2-3 tiny pieces the size of a nickel scattered across the plate. When we flagged this to Anna, she told us that the beef was portioned ahead of time and there was nothing she could do. We asked her to come to the table and take a look, and again, she repeated that there was nothing she could do. What shocked us even more was when she became defensive, mentioning that she had already gone to the kitchen "four times" for us—even though two of those times were not complaints, and in reality, she had only gone to the kitchen three times due to our requests.
At this point, I asked to speak to a manager, and to our complete surprise, Anna told us that she was the manager. My wife tried to explain once again that we came specifically for the nachos and simply expected a normal portion of meat on them. Anna’s response?
"I didn't cook it, girl." "I can't do everything to satisfy you guys."
We were completely stunned. A "manager" who dismisses customers like this? The lack of professionalism and customer service was beyond disappointing. Frankly, had we received even remotely decent service, we would have ordered at least another 2-3 rounds of drinks and more food. Instead, we quickly paid and left, with the entire experience putting a damper on what was supposed to be a birthday celebration.
We genuinely love Boston Pizza, but if this is the level of service and experience we can expect, we’ll have to rethink where we choose to dine. We sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should leave feeling as...
Read moreThe first time i came to this locating was to celebrate after finding out my wife was pregnant with my son. We ordered milkshakes only to find out the milk used was spoiled. If you can imagine how a spoiled bottle or milk jug looks and smells well than you can imagine this milkshake. I was pretty disgusted and so was the staff when they found out what we just tried. I thought hey they must not serve milkshakes very much. I decided to ignore this because i was still so happy about my son. After ordering my favorite baked Chipotle bacon penny i realized there was a damn hair in my garlic bread.. i had enough. It was so hard to ignore the fact that this place was disgusting. They wanted to charge me for the meal still after not finishing it. The server agreed that it was pretty gross but the manger played it off like it was no big deal and accidents happen. That was my first time at this location. The second time wasn't as bad but i ordered the beef dip and opened the sandwich lol u couldn't believe they only had one fricken slice of beef on there. Not only that but they forgot my wife ordered and didn't bring that out until a good 10 minutes after they served the first round of rubbish. Anyways i complained even though i don't like to because I'm afraid the ones who complain get spit In there food. The manger brings me a new beef dip which was actually pretty good but at the same time I'm worried they did something to it because i complained. So my experience at this location has been nothing but problems. I love Boston pizza but this specific location seriously hurts their...
