I’m not here to review the pizza. I’m here to talk about an employee. I’m certain other readers have encountered him. I’m a woodbine local and have been for years. Consistently, the same employee stands outside the Pizza Hut, pacing, frowning at everyone. It doesn’t appear that he’s out for a smoke. My first encounter with him was seven years ago. I was just a kid learning to drive in a student driver vehicle. He harassed me as I was learning to back out of the parking stall, stalking the car and staring at me through the glass. As my instructor was about to get out to speak with him, he made some gesture, shook his head and walked off. I was so uncomfortable at the time and scared he was going to open my door. Seven years later and this has been consistent behaviour I’ve seen from him—seeking to intimidate people. Today, I saw him doing the same pacing activity, brushing shoulders with any and everyone who passed him (who I should add were either elderly or adolescent girls) and looking inside everyone’s vehicles. All that being said, Pizza Hut woodbine, your employee is probably a big part of the reason people don’t come back. He’s not only a pill but someone I don’t feel comfortable around. I’m sure others have said the same. The fact that he had the audacity to try and use scare tactics on a teen driving student alone is concerning and even more concerning that nothing has been done 7 years later as he continues his antics. As long as I see him stalking the parking lot, you will never have my business. I wouldn’t doubt that he’s deterred people not only from your restaurant but all of the...
Read moreAfter an hour of waiting for my order with my hungry children sceaming in my ear, i called to inqiuire the status of my order. I was passed off twice and evn hung up on. By the time my food actually showed up the pizza was cold. I told the delivery driver to take it back that i wasn't going to pay for his cold food. The lady that was still on the phone transferd me to the store it that prepared the order at the Woodbine location and the "manager" aswereed the phone "hi this is Paul!" Not his title, not Pizza hut, nothing just Paul. I was by this point furios and just explained what had happend and that i would be ordering from a different restarant from now on. He then hung up on me aswell. Im sick and tired of calgary's bad service in the food industry. The boom is OVER people! If you treat your customers like you dont care you will have to close your doors. Dont blame the economy and expect simpothy when you do. We will all know the real cause. You had your chance and you are not entiteld to the "alberta advantage" if you dont...
Read moreBeen there to get the pizza today, it was quite busy no doubt, but being busy and leaving the frustration on their customers doesn’t make any sense. Been there to pick the order through skip the dishes, there was a lady on the counter who was quite unhelpful when i just asked her “how long it will take to get the order ready” she said she do not have any order at the moment (frustrated tone). She said if it is not here, you can cancel the order. Upon telling her that i am not able to cancel the order, she replied in angry tone, “i can’t do anything with that” . We “skip the dishes employees” are also working, if it is busy, it doesn’t mean you can spit out his/her frustration on anyone you like! If you can not hold your frustration in customer service, it is better not to...
