We are emailed free products because of our many purchases, but when we try to get them, they say they do not have them, but... BUT...I literally took a picture of them actually having it when they said they didn't. Fake promoting. Simply don't trust them at this location. I love COBS, but I would rather take the bus to the deerfoot city location instead of this one even if it takes me 2 hours on the bus. Great products here, but FAKE promotions. Here is the picture of the Scones the girl said they DON'T have when they actually DID have them!!!. My wife and I spent almost $4 on the bus just to go there for our stupid "free loaf" of bread and scones...... Two days in a row, but it's just a fake promotion. I will still buy here for their great products, but don't waste your time on their Fake promotions that draw stupid people like me and my wife into buying more when they don't actually have any of their so called free reward promotions. We are retired and old. Taking the bus there used to be a joy, but HERE, immediately taken advantage of. We are old gullible people. We feel stupid and embarrassed now. I wish that I didn't like their product so much because I am very upset and embarrassed. Now we have to spend money to take the bus to deerfoot city COBS to get our free whatever. It's a easy of fishing people in to buy more while they are there and don't have the actual product that was offered as a reward. So sad...
Read moreGood items especially bagels. But it's such a weird thing, which might be a frachisor problem (issue with the system given to franchisee) or may be franchisee's issue (not following franchise discipline) that bagels, a breakfast item, isn't available until 9 a.m. even though location opens at 7 and all the focus is on getting sweet items ready first. I'd love to have their bagels in breakfast instead of mid morning snack and for that, I hope they start bagel sales max at 8 a.m.
Update: I receive a standard response from COBS. Guys you r running a franchise & need to afford a customer service guy. How will you improve if you just post standard responses? Here is response under my comment:
Hi Jehanzeb, sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience with us. Can you tell us more by contacting feedback@cobsbread.com? - COBS Bread Support Team
Now....why I need to reach out? They should have responded that they will take my suggestion to management and make sure to try resolving the issue i.e. having bagels...
Read moreI special ordered a loaf of bread and the day of staff called to make sure I'll pick it up. I unexpectedly had to work late so I said I'd try my best to make it but they could attempt to sell it just in case I didn't make it before close. Everything was cool it was a pleasant respectful conversation. Then I get a call from an unknown number, I ignore it, then again, I answer, it's Vikram the owner of Carrington cobs. He's very upset that I'm not coming for the bread. He's lecturing me and clearly emotional. I am busy with work and don't really have time to deal with this guy's tantrum so I hang up. He proceeds to KEEP CALLING ME, until I block his number. I will not...
