I have been here several times now and the food has consistently been excellent. To be fair, I have only ordered the Sundae Gukbap which consists of a pork bone base and sundae which are Korean blood sausages. The broth is excellent. I love how garlicly and flavourful the sundae is. They give a generous amount of sundae and protein. Additionally, I have been impressed with the complimentary side dishes that comes with the soup. I personally think they have the best sundae gukbap in Calgary.

About a month ago, I was initially a little put off as I ordered takeout food here. I thought the portion sizes on the side dishes were small compared to dining in at this restaurant; which left me feeling a little disappointed.

However, the redeeming factor was the service from the staff here recently. I came in with my wife and our baby. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate and help provide quality service for my child. They were amazing to deal with and extremely attentive. I recommend this place for the sundae gukbap. Came here on a Sunday for lunch with the family. It's in a little strip mall. There was plenty of parking out front. Inside was warm and inviting with Korean theme. It is quite a large space and can handle large groups. We had a regular table but saw that you could have your own room that had sliding door for privacy. Our table also had a burner so you can cook your own food if you want. We opted for the restaurant to cook.

Everything had large portions as you can tell from the photos. We ordered the Daeji Mori Gukbab, Donkatsu, and LA Galbi. Everything was well prepared, flavourful and delicious. LA Galbi is one of my favourites and it did not disappoint.

Staff were attentive and friendly. Each table had a button which would call someone to come to your table. This was nice as whenever you needed someone you can press the button. No need to wait to flag someone down. It wasn't particularly busy this day but I could see where this would come in handy.

I usually really dont like to leave negative reviews but the take-out experience I had with this restaurant warranted an honest review. I am really baffled by all the positive reviews this restaurant got. This Korean restaurant served the worst Koran food I have ever tasted in my life. I ordered the Gamjatang and the cheese buldak. Both dishes were heavily seasoned with loads of msg. I had to drink water all of the rest of the day since having them. The pork bones in the gamjatang were not fresh; the meat was not falling off the bone instead tasted very dead and frozen. The portion of the $30 cheese buldak was the smallest I have seen and it had loads of onions, other vegetables and rice cakes in it instead of just chicken and cheese. The rice portion was also small considering how salty their food was. I will avoid this restaurant at all cost...
