I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jerusalem Shawarma, and I am compelled to share the exceptional experience I had, largely due to the incredible service provided by Hythem. From the moment I walked through the doors, Hythem’s warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. His genuine enthusiasm and friendliness set a positive tone for what would become an unforgettable dining experience.
Hythem’s deep knowledge of the menu was immediately evident. As someone who loves exploring different cuisines but often finds it challenging to decide what to order, I appreciated Hythem’s detailed explanations of the dishes. He patiently described the ingredients and preparation methods, and he even shared insights into the origins of some of the more traditional items. His passion for the food was contagious, and his recommendations were absolutely spot on.
I decided to follow Hythem’s suggestions, and I’m so glad I did. The shawarma was an absolute delight – perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the quality and authenticity of the food served at Jerusalem Shawarma. It was clear that Hythem genuinely cared about my dining experience and wanted me to enjoy the best that the restaurant had to offer.
What truly set Hythem apart was his impeccable attention to detail and his commitment to ensuring everything was perfect. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, he managed to check on me regularly to make sure I had everything I needed, all while maintaining a level of attentiveness that never felt intrusive. His friendly and approachable demeanor made me feel like a valued guest, and it was clear that he took pride in providing top-notch service to everyone in the restaurant.
Hythem’s ability to handle a bustling environment with such grace and composure was impressive. He was always on the move, attending to multiple tables with ease, yet he made every interaction feel personal and genuine. It’s rare to find someone who can manage a busy restaurant with such efficiency while still maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my visit was when Hythem offered a complimentary dessert to top off my meal. This unexpected gesture was not only a delightful surprise but also a clear demonstration of his dedication to creating memorable experiences for his guests. The dessert was delicious and provided the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal.
Throughout my time at Jerusalem Shawarma, it was evident that Hythem is a true asset to the team. His hard work, dedication, and passion for providing exceptional service are qualities that deserve to be recognized and rewarded. I sincerely hope that the management considers this review as a testament to Hythem’s outstanding performance and takes the opportunity to commend and reward him accordingly.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Jerusalem Shawarma was elevated to new heights thanks to Hythem’s extraordinary service. His warmth, knowledge, and genuine care for his guests made all the difference, and I cannot praise him enough. I look forward to returning to Jerusalem Shawarma, knowing that I will be well taken care of by the amazing staff, especially Hythem. Read moreMy worst shawarma experience of all time, in Calgary. I have been here for 5 years & I almost have a Shawarma every week. I've had very good experiences at the 32nd Avenue NE. I was at this location at 10:30 pm, on Friday July 12th. It took me 32 minutes to order & receive my food, which was 1 large chicken shawarma. I was coning from wirk cAt first, it took them 14 minutes that they havr run out of the Chicken for Wraps & Plantters. So a brought the fresh chicken on the grill behind the garnishing counter & got it ready in about 10 minutes. I believe that the meat cooked properly as he was rushing to have it ready, for the last 9 customers, who were starring at him for waiting 15 minutes + for their orders. Then came the garnishing person (did not have a nane tag but he was wearing glasses & had a beard). I asked him to put some olive oil + red chilli flakes / powder. He told me that he was doing me a favour as these 2 items are for the salad toppings only. I have never had an issue with doing this at the 32nd Avenue & Royal Oak locations for the past 2 years & I go there at least once a week. If this was already not enough, I found our when I got ready to eat my Shawarma wrap, that it was not wrapped properly & everything was falling down when I opened the one end of the jumbo wrap. It made a mess on my table & clothes. I ended up throwing the wrap away. I'm not ever coming back to this location of the Jerusalem...
Read moreI live very close to this location for 5 years and have not come here for 2 years because they have been messing up or forgetting my orders entirely since i started coming there. I went in today and sure enough, messed up my order again... asked for no sauce on the salad, puts sauce on the salad, i said my order was mixed, adds the meats to the wrong order. The last time i was here, they forgot my order for 20 minutes. I was wondering how my order got missed...i asked if they forgot it and the staff looked bewildered. They eventually corrected the mistake, but totally unacceptable that every time I go in they make mistakes.
Also, the bathrooms have been absolutely a disaster in there and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of days of hard use.
Garbages overloaded and spilling over, while the staff are speaking Arabic loudly to each other. Totally oblivious of the situation.
Music was inappropriately loud and it was rap music...who's choice was this? I left the restaurant as soon as possible as I was annoyed at the whole scenario.
Management should be ashamed.
I have been to other locations, and this one is the worst. Even though it is closest, I will not set foot in...
