Terrible experience last week. Found a DISTURBING LONG BLACK STRAND OF HAIR wrapped around my beef dish, when I asked the server if I could get a new dish because of it she loudly said “can you just wait a minute?! I don’t have any hands to deal with this”. Other tables heard and also found the response to be incredibly unprofessional and made comments that we shouldn’t be treated like that. After 5 minutes she came back, she looked at the hair in the dish and had the audacity to look at our table to see if anyone had black hair.. again rude and unprofessional. She took it away WITHOUT SAYING anything. She came back and I wanted to ask her if we could take it to go instead since our whole table finished eating she rudely interrupted me and said “tsk tsk we give you discount” to basically “quiet me”. I wasn’t going to complain about the money, we weren’t looking for discounts or have the meal taken off ... that’s not the issue. The issue is the whole visit NO ONE had apologized for the disturbing strand in the food. When we were paying the server told the lady with glasses in Vietnamese that we had hair in the food so the dish should have discount and they laughed and made rude comments (as if we all didn’t know Vietnamese). The lady told us in English that she will give us discount with no apology either - unprofessional and rude. Never coming back to this...

Used to come here almost on a daily basis. After spending some time overseas and returning decided to hop back in this morning. Lady at from counter instantly recognized me was so shocked to see me again after being away for so long, was nice to know they remember their frequent customers, definitely have a loyalty base to this place. Everyone always been super friendly since started going until now. The Spicy Sate Beef Pho was just as incredible, delicious, full of depth and flavor as I've always remembered it! Quality and dedication shines through and through and they have no wavered. With that said they battled through Covid times, had major renos just completed (which looks amazing) and yet they still putting out some of thr BEST Pho in the entire city Bar NONE! They have been and will continue to be my go-to spot for ultimate comfort food morning afternoon or evenings! Understandably they can be very busy but even so they always are attentive, polite and food always piping hot and just as ordered wether coming for takeout or sitting it. Highly highly recommend this place if your looking for a legit authentic spot. You won't regret it! I know I'll be back a few times every week even though I live 30 minutes away..trust me they are worth thr drive and wait! Well done to everyone working there,...

I can say for me that this place is somewhere I will never attend. My friend enjoyed his meal, but as a VEGETARIAN they are downright awful. They made me feel horrible for being a vegetarian because both servers kept sighing to thinking of option for me to eat. The girl server left, and the guy server was left to deal with me, the demanding customer. He suggested vermicelli with fried veggies, peanuts, and it'll almost be like some sort of pad thai, it wasn't. When the food came out.. It was a plate of what looked like canned vegetables, which were cold, and the vermicelli had no sauce (sort of pad thai my ass) it was simply the noodles alone. I had two bites and it was distasteful. They didn't care about me as a customer and my needs, which are very basic. I've been to enough pho places where they have plenty of vegetarian options. I hate to rant, but for once I felt bad for inconveniencing them. When I went to pay, he didn't even ask me about my food, after he took away a full plate. I can't believe he didn't ask what was wrong, or even try to accommodate me. He charged me FULL PRICE!! Even though the people who may read/skim this post may think I am a hippy that complains too much.. no... simply just letting you know of service you shouldn't have...

My boyfriend’s friend invited my boyfriend and me to have Vietnamese food for lunch when we came back from Toronto during the weekend. I am not a Vietnamese food fan. But, the one we had, was very great. We went to Pho Kim’s Vietnamese Noodle House for lunch. It located on Centre B St NW, Calgary, AB T2M 2R5. It is a very big restaurant, has two floors. We arrived the restaurant around 12 pm right on the lunchtime. The restaurant was very full already. We were very lucky to find a table Upstairs. We all had the Noodle Soup with beef ball, rare beef, flank, tripe & tendon with different sizes. I had a small size, my boyfriend had large, and his friend had x large. All the noodle soup was in the large portion. They were all very well cooked and fresh. Even though I don’t really like the Vietnamese Noodle Soup, I really enjoy having noodles at Pho Kim’s. Very great experience.

Number 17A (sate beef stew pho) is some of the best I’ve had in the city. And I’ve tried a lot!! Super flavourful and the most tender beef around. It is the spicy sate not the peanut sate which I love! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the potion size. Ordered delivery and paid $13.50 for the pho that they claim to be extra large but I ate it all in one sitting when I have had leftovers for a lot cheaper at other places. I would definitely get it again though as a treat every so often because of the quality of the food. The beef sate sub isn’t the best in the city but it sure hits the spot! The bun was a little too toasty and I’m more of a soft bun girl. It could have also used a little more flavour. But all in all I’m super happy I chose to order from here off door dash. Very satisfying! Great job guys, I’m a picky reviewer!

I ordered item #11, which is a well done beef, flank and tendor noodle soup. When the bowl arrived in front of me, it looked very good and smoke can be clearly seen. I dont often eat Vietnamese cuisine though. The soup was awesome that it contains the saltiness that it should have. I put the spices and few drops of lime into the bowl and the flavour was even good. The noodles were a bit too soft and was easily broken, but it also had the flavour of soup in it. Before we leave, we ordered #19A salad rolls, with one of them with the shrimps missing. The flavour was good and the shrimp flavour is so obvious. Brilliant. I recommend having a meal here if you like or want to try Asian food.
