JusFruit Parkdale — Restaurant in Calgary

I asked if the taro was dairy free and was told that it was and to use a dairy free milk. However, after drinking it I became sick and have hives. I looked into it and the taro powder has casein in it, which is neither dairy free nor vegan as it's derived from cows milk. Casein is the protein in milk that I'm most sensitive to unfortunately. Please ensure you are properly informing customers about allergens if they ask about a product. It tasted good, but I'm going to feel ill...

I’m a big fan of Jusfruit for quite some time now but this location was really disappointing. They have a dinner and the Jusfruit in the same place but they don’t have enough staff to run two businesses only one so the wait, even though it wasn’t busy at all, was really long and when you have one employee trying to make the drinks and be the cashier and also serve the tables you’re definitely not gonna have a good service.
