DO NOT ORDER ICE CREAM FROM HERE!!!!! I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!! They give you the SMALLEST scoops. I wouldn't even consider half a scoop rounded with a hole in the middle to make it look like a scoop would be considered a scoop. The ice cream that was there didn't even go past the top of the cone. I wish I had taken a picture but I ended up throwing it out before eating it because I was so disappointed that I wasted my money.
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get ice cream here!
Response to owner: I guess you shouldn't share a roof with a bunch of crooks such as the people that run the convenience store. There is no way differentiate the two business when walking in. I certainly wouldn't want my customers to be confused and think that the ice cream is sold by you. As there are many reviews under your business that mention ice cream I am not the only person that is confused with this. So the review stays. Maybe have a conversation with the shady people that share a roof with you.
P.s. You should inform the "separate business" that their employees shouldn't smoke right infront the entrance to your store. Or is it thier store? Or your store? Or? I don't...
Read moreDue to his poor decision of calling the police on , me. When I just wanted proper business etiquette. I paid for services that he never provided. I reacted because he refused to give us a refund, but yet the truck he provided us broke down, Making weird noises in the transmission. I think anybody would have reacted the way I do all I want like my money back. But he called the police on me because I’m an angry native woman now I have a Broken shoulder and three torn tendon. This is the consequence of police aggression against native people, especially native women. But I will be pursuing legal advice And pursuing legal consequences to the business and the police because I believe in accountability. I come from my family that stands for ground and for the right and justice. So that’s what I’m gonna do and I give zero stars to this café for poor judgement and bad business Etiquettes. Very poor judgement of people, Very stereotype and judgemental of us native people. But yet your on Blackfoot territory/confederacy land. PS…from A 100% Blackfoot women for Kainai-Blood...
Read moreEvery time I walk into Nove Nine, I am welcome by the most cheery humans I have ever met. The food is simple but perfected. It is simply the tastiest food and I have been slowly making my way through the menu each time I come in.
The energy is bright and earthy. The owners did an amazing job reimagining this space and though it is small, there’s tons of room so you don’t feel claustrophobic at all. Both Becca and Scarlett being at the front to greet people no matter who it is (there is also a convenient store attached) is awesome! They are the nicest girls and do their best to remember your name and make you feel like a true neighbour!
I have been here a handful of times and just seeing how it runs and the energy of the staff makes me want to work here too! I love coming here. It is also a short walk from the river!
I genuinely hope this new business survives this weird pandemic because I feel so at home here. I hope my visits make a difference for the business and that they thrive for a...
