Gosh darn it this place is VERY tasty and FILLING for real - kinda pricey for some of us budget-watchers but truly worth it as a treat and many reviews saying they have blood sugar meters and it didn't make their levels spike very much at all ! The "lil bird" sandwich is actually huge - cost at the time of me making this review is $10.99 plus tax but I won't have to eat for the rest of today!! I was able to ask for it spicy (or it can be regular too) after I had already placed the order and they were able to accommodate no problem. It has the perfect kick for me! They really had the food ready so quickly too and it tastes so fresh and healthy - Sorry to sound like a commercial lol I seriously have no affiliation haha just so surprised to find a place like this so close to home ! I have been trying to stick to Keto/ Dirty Keto but it's often hard when you get those mean cravings - I have a 15 year old son and I know when he wants that kind of fast food he REALLY wants it, even tho this is "Keto" food it just tastes fresh and filling - I know he would love it regardless of being keto or not! but I'm thinking this stuff would actually be good for somebody that has to watch out for their diabetes. (I'm NOT a dr or medical professional just a person who knows nothing about anything so pls check with your dr and any questions directly to the establishment!) $10 isn't too bad for a big burger and ITS called the little bird so I can just imagine the BIGGER ones! And the ice cream was $6 for a small mini one but it seems really rich so it's not like I need a big one at all and they have a ton of flavors! Great for upcoming hot days in summer that feel like a day for a treat but don't wanna fall off my WOE (way of eating) Please consider getting small table inside and if there were any possibility for the "garage" style door to be opened in the warm months it could have a little seating area there too! Thanks so much to keto grill for this delicious bakery and restaurant that can offer so many options to those of us trying to get back on or stay on track!    Read moreJust tried this place for first time after discovering online while searching for keto stores. I tried the L'll Bird as it seemed to get the best reviews. I wouldn't say it's the best chicken sandwich going, but anything I'd point to which ranked it below other sandwiches I like better (Wendy's, Popeye's) has nothing to do with what they've done to make it low-carb. I thought the chicken itself was not as good as those others, but the bun, the coating on the chicken and all that were fine. Definitely the best chicken sandwich you'll find with 5 net carbs, that's for sure. As for the establishment, I found it odd that they promote they're a "living wage" employer (and their prices show it!), yet still thought it appropriate to shill for tips. They have a Japanese style ordering screen, but they also take payment at the counter, which I didn't know until I saw someone else do that later. Why they stood there and allowed me to struggle with the ordering screen when they simply could have spoken up and offered to take my order (when I was the only one in the place) struck me as poor customer service, although, there was an offer to bring it to my car when it was ready, which I thought was excellent. I also found it odd that on their website they list all the nutrient information for their products, but don't mention the ingredients. I mean, are their burgers made with beef or something else? There's no way to know. Overall, I think it's a decent, and welcome, place that could use some refinement on the...
Read moreI was tempted to leave a one star review to troll the owner and get a similarly hilarious reaction as the ones I have read. I decided not to, but I'll say this - when the owner knows their food is as good as it is and bang on keto, they probably don't gaff about one star reviews full of capital letters and exclamation marks. Not sure how spelling mistakes weren't made while they were typing out their responses, because I was in hysterics reading them.
I started keto 15 years ago before any one knew what a ketogenic diet was. There was definitely nothing branded keto. At best it was mocked as Atkins 2.0 and bacon is not a health food judges. It was maligned by most doctors, but if you knew your macros, and undersood the science, you lost weight, felt healthier, and all medical indicators improve magically by eating more fat and less carbs. Weird.
115 lbs later and maintained at ~60g carbs a day for most of the last 15 years, I give 5 gold stars to the owner, the staff, the food, the creativity, and passion to deliver the best keto food I have had. Everything I've eaten here is not just as good as, but better than the best non keto versions I've had of the same thing. I only found this place a month ago because a friend started into keto but I am sure everything I haven't had is also similarly awesome.
-1 gold star for atmosphere because there are no chairs for me to sit around with the owner and chin wag.
Bravo, A+. WOULD HIGHLY...
