Mozy Cafe — Restaurant in Calgary

Mozy himself is passionate about the food he makes (and he makes most of the ingredients himself). He also is very passionate about his customers (and those two things are at the core of why im writing this review, its unfortunately so rare these days to find someone like that, most resturaunts just want your money, at Mozy Cafe, it's just you and Mozy, he really loves what he does...). I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Mozy Cafe to anyone! We live in Mahogany and used to drive all the way up to SAIT for chicken shawarma. Then my fiance was introduced to Mozy Cafe by her boss. I went for the first time this past Friday and had the falafel. Im not a vegetarian but i do like a good falafel and let me tell you Mozy made me just about the best i've ever had! My fiance loves his chicken shawarma. We have found a place that not only has amazing good food and service with a huge genuine smile but where we feel comfortable and welcomed, its like going home to your parents house for mom's supper, you know what your going to eat and you...

Just came back from Mozy Cafe. Yes, I live in LYNNWOOD Calgary Mozy makes the Best home brewed family recipe tea I have ever tasted !!

Wow this place was amazing! A true hidden gem... I would have never have found this place had it not been for these reviews that popped up when I was looking for cheap eats near Riverbend after a Dr. Apt. Mozy Cafe is very cozy and would be a great place to eat in. Try to time your visit to not coincide with school lunches or church lunches... it's packed. I just ordered a take out for my teenage son and he was blown away by the flavour as well as the size. What a great value for less than $8. The owner who I assume is named Mohammed, was very attentive, asked questions and made the perfect donair stuffed with all kinds of goodness. I ordered the chicken and beef, as well as the falafel and chicken. The place is clean and well kept despite a non descript exterior. He is related to the famous Jimmy's of A&A Deli fame, so you KNOW the food is going to be amazing.

Outstanding food from such an unassuming place....
