Ogden Whistle Pub — Restaurant in Calgary

Food was excellent, service was pleasant. I had the Baja chipotle wings which we're a unique flavour l, a spicy smokey chipotle mole with a squeeze of lime. The wings themselves were plump and juicy. My wife had the perogies, they are home made and very good. The place is a bit of a dive and has a stale smell that only comes with of decades of cigarette smoke. I've only been here at lunch on a Friday, we shared the bar with about 10 other people I can only assume we're regulars since the bartender knew thier drinks as they walked in the door. It has a stage setup for live music and they have karaoke nights which looks like it could be fun. Beers on tap are about what you'd expect for a bar with few windows and a vlt section. Unfortunately, my partner and I were very disappointed in our last visit here. We had such high hopes because of a great experience earlier this year, but it needs to be said that if the staff paid as much attention to newer customers, as they do the regulars than they would likely have more regulars.

My food was visibly uncooked. This could have been resolved all fine (I've worked in food service- I get it) but we never got a visit from the waitress until the bill time when she clearly gave zero cares about my large plate of barely touched food. New management team are rude obnoxious & arrogant The food quality is going downhill I have never seen LYNNWOOD station at this level I have been going there for years but will never return again and even the staff are selfish and obnoxious I would not recommend this establishment to anybody don't waste your time or money visiting this establishment I believe it's just a matter of time before they shut their doors even the bikers that ownedthe bar prior hit a better job than this new management team ever could and not waste your time or money on this...
