Let me just start by saying that my first experience here two years ago was a 5/5 - all their pasta dishes were freshly made and tasted divine. Decided to introduce Sunterra to a friend this week and I'm sad to say that it was a total letdown. Our server was confused and seemed inexperienced - she didn't know anything about what was available for the pasta and when bringing us our food, she just haphazardly left our cutlery directly on the dirty table outside (no tissue, plate, nothing!) and awkwardly ran away. After 15 mins of waiting, I was told the pesto cream sauce I ordered wasn't even available and was offered a tomato based alternative which I wasn't happy about since they could have told us before we paid but I trusted it to be good anyway. I couldn't be more wrong. Not only were both pomodoro and bolognese sauces bland, but my (small shell?) pasta was so tough and hard to chew that it made the food completely unenjoyable, a tough feat to achieve for pasta. I hadn't even been informed that this was the type of pasta they'd be using as I'd requested penne for my previous choice. The spaghetti was also cold/room temp which felt like it had been sitting out for a while. The side bread and chocolate cheesecake I got was pretty decent but still didn’t make up for the overall awful experience. Not going to be back unfortunately, especially after hearing about their unsanitary food safety at another location.

Came here for a dinner date with my husband. The food was so delicious and fresh. My husband got the Rotisserie chicken meal, and I got the roast beef. The proteins both were divine - the Rotisserie chicken was so tender and juicy with a perfect spicy skin. My roast beef was fall apart soft, and the gravy the put ontop was delicious but not overpowering, but I wish they had horse radish for the roast. Our sides were both perfection - with roasted veggies and roasted mini potatoes, which were as soon as any restaurant we have been to. All in all, we had a delicious meal for a quarter of the price it was worth in a traditional restaraunt, the service was very friendly, and the location was perfect to walk down into Kensington for Gelato.

The cooked food here is beyond disappointing. I ordered a classic breakfast and the sausages were so overcooked that I couldn’t bite through them. It was like a dog treat. The eggs were not as I ordered. The chef can’t even get a very basic order right. The coffee was disgusting. Burnt roasted beans so it tasted like garbage with milk. Staff behind the desk had nothing better to do, they were audibly mocking customer interactions. Needless to say, I will not be returning for cooked food. There is a very limited selection of pricey grocery items too.

Went to this location last Saturday with my two young boys, there was a long line and we waited outside for over 20 mins due to capacity limits. When we got to the front of the line and the next to enter, the staff at the door asked how many people were in our group. I answered three, then she walked past us and had the indecency to ask the crowd outside who were "behind" us in line if there were any two single adults wanting to enter? I was in shock when I heard this but didn't even have to respond to her comment as the very kind customer behind me said to her, "No because that's not fair to the folks ahead." I thanked this customer for his response but was still offended that a staff would overlook us and disregarded our time in line just because I had children with me who they felt were going to take up two extra spots in their store when I could see at least 5 other staff standing inside taking up space doing nothing. Not to mention my sons were waiting so patiently with me.

This location is about maximizing profits and could careless to have any consideration for parents with children or common courtesy. Apparently here, Covid has made their staff senseless and ignorant to families that have to bring along their children shop.

We already waited enough time that we stayed to pick-up what we needed, but due to this inconsiderate behavior of this staff we will not be spending our hard earned dollar towards businesses like this that look to profits "only" over customer service experience. We usually spend as much as you would spend in a grocery store every time we make a stop here, but I am sure two single adults would spend more.

Management, if you read this feedback, customer service and common courtesy for "first come first serve" especially when you see families with young children is still important even during a pandemic! Unfortunately, you've lost...

I wish I could give a - review and not 1 star.

I am beyond outraged right now, I placed a catering order and grocery order from Sunterra with foods intended for my families Christmas morning breakfast. My kids have been looking forward to this especially given the year we have had with Covid.

I went today on time to pickup my order at your Kensington location. I called when I arrived as I was advised to do and was told I would get a call back when my order is ready (on a side note I still have not been called back for someone to bring my order to my car) after sitting in my car for 30 minutes I went in. As soon as I arrived I advised a young man who was dealing with orders what I was there for. He ran around trying to find my order for 20 minutes and disappeared. I then asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with Marc who was not helpful at all and just went to the back. I was there for an hour and a half until finally a wonderful young lady asked to help me. After telling her my situation she took control, was very helpful and offered a free delivery. She got me in front of another manager who seemed like he would handle my situation. He took all my information including my address and phone number and promised to personally deliver my order to my home today so I would have it for the morning.

It is now 7:20pm and I have not received my order. That was my entire plan for Christmas breakfast for my family. I told them if they could not deliver to let me know, give me my money yet back and I could go to the grocery store and get what I need. Now it is too late to even have that option as everything is closed.

This is not...

Service is very unfriendly and does the bare minimum in hospitality. Have been here two seperate times and had sausage rolls that were straight up RAW both times. The first instance it was pork and they barely reacted, they offered us something else but they did not seem to care at all neither were they apologetic about serving us raw pork. The workers there seem to give off a strong vibe of being annoyed and do not care very much. They ask if you'd like your sausage roll heated only for her to forget, and having to remind them to give us cuttlery more than once when it's clear we are sitting and eating. We decided to give it another try on a seperate occasion thinking it was a one off and tried the Morrocan lamb sausage roll, cut it in half and the center was cold and raw. When we mentioned it to the cashier she disputed it and was combative instead of apologetic. They insisted it was cooked and we should eat it and complained that heating it would burn the edges. She made us feel difficult when it was honestly inedible and we had quietly eaten the other dishes, barley beef soup and panini, of which the former was mediocre and the flavorless while the latter was pretty good. They gave us a refund in the end but their respect and appreciation for their customers is awful. At least in the first instance the chef was honest and didn't argue that we were eating bloody pork, however he nor anyone else there seemed very bothered by it. Both times I've been the service here has been terrible and the food has been lacking flavor and/or raw, do...
