Terrible food in this restaurant! Absolutely BAD! First time visit this restaurant because me and my wife was looking for good India restaurant, and we choose this restaurant according to Google review. Everything was OK until we received their rice! The rice was BURNED smelling and the smelling even mix with cigarette! At the beginning, we were thinking maybe that is their rice "special" smelling? Until I really can not put that rice into my mouth, I called server come over. The lady server took away my rice, and she came back couple minutes later, she told me that the rice was burned by accident in the kitchen! And she also told me that it was the last bowl of rice they have, it will take long time to cook another rice? Really? So I told her forget it. I felt my stomach not good after I stop eating the rice, at the same time, my wife still eating her food. So I went to their washroom because of diarrhea, very bad diarrhea.. I finished the washroom and came out, I passed their kitchen. Guess what I saw through their kitchen door window? I saw two people working in there, but they have cigarette in their mouth! Come On!!!!! A restaurant has their cooker who have cigarette while they are working? This restaurant need to be closed!! I went back to seat and ask my wife leave right away! WARNING!! I ordered chicken jalfrezi. When I cut into the chicken it was COMPLETELY RAW. And I mean raw; shiny pink raw meat. When I showed the waitress she didn't see the problem. I asked for it to be replaced and when a different waiter brought a new one he tried to tell me it wasn't raw, it was just because of which part of the chicken it had come from. Total nonsense. Raw meat is raw meat and definitely not good when it's chicken. If a chef can't cook a bit of chicken then he or she needs a different occupation. Raw meat aside, curry was mediocre at best. Will not be going back.

UPDATE: Just received a response stating simply "That's not true". I assure you that every word is true and accurate. The fact that the restaurant is prepared to deny my experience even happened and openly accuse me of lying is as shocking and concerning as the experience itself. Clearly they do not take this seriously at all and lack even a basic understanding of food safety, customer service and the importance of honesty. Disgusting attitude, frankly. They should be ashamed...

This is a very nice Indian restaurant. The food was good, very large portions, and friendly staff. We ordered butter chicken, and chicken biryani with garlic nann.

The only complaint was that the staff seemed to mistaken our order frequently. First they messed up our pops, which are also none refillable. When asked if they do refills we were told yes, and had our drinks refilled. But that was an extra charge on the bill that we didn't see coming. Then they mixed up our spice levels. We asked for the butter chicken to be medium, and the biryani to not be spicy. But we got the opposite. Spicy biryani and very mild butter chicken. Even when the server came and asked we told him the biryani was spicy, but we were told it was not.

When the bill was brought over, it said clearly that the biryani was medium and the butter chicken was mild. As well as the non refillable drinks. After we paid the server apologized for the mixup. No attempt to amend or anything. Just out of luck for us.
