Ryan's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Campbell River

We've been getting pizza here for awhile now, it's great pizza and consistently great, every time. Minus one star because the front desk customer service is..not so great. You are never acknowledged by the front counter with a simple glance/nod/wave when you walk in, regardless if they are on the phone or not. If they are on the phone, they still will not acknowledge you once they are done until they continue finish writing/typing etc. It's super weird. You should always give a customer a quick nod/glance/wave if you're busy but can't speak/attend to them at the moment. Same with once they are done on the phone - looking up for a sec or saying " Hey, I'll be with you on just once second here" would be way better than not even looking at somebody lol. Once they finally do acknowledge you they are pretty great to talk with, but that initial acting like a person is invisible is not cool. It's unfortunate because they are good people and it's a busy place, I see they get a lot of flack online for customer service. On the plus, the cooks at the back usually look over and give you...

Not sure if discrimination or just scatter brained at the till. But we ordered our pizza ahead of time. Asked for pick up at 7pm. I went inside to get the pizza. I paid and the lady said she would bring out the pizza once it was out of the oven. 30 minutes later I went up to check on our order and she said it had been delivered. After telling her no she said it was already picked up. It took the guy in the back saying that the pizza has been sitting on top of the oven for her to realize it was still there. Also heard her tell the cook to spit in someone's nachos. So we won't be back....

A man with a reseeding hairline and glasses very skinny who works at the bowling alley was creeping around the bathroom.. my daughter tried to go in but he made her feel awkward with him trying to guide her in the washroom by opening for her. I talked him about it and he said he was a manager and had the right to go anywhere he likes and was afraid a 8 year old was going to damage the washrooms so he had to keep an eye. We left there disgusted and appalled they would hire a man like this we we spend a lot of money here...
