I decided to order the pork schnitzel after hearing the legends of the chef "Glenn beating his meat" and I think he upgraded to rubber mallets as I didn't hear it at all lol... But seriously, the pork schnitzel was very delicious! It had lots of flavor and even the gravy for my mashed potatoes was a little on the sweet side which I definitely liked My wife ordered the bannock Benny's and wow, it was like a kick in the teeth it tasted so good! The waitresses name was Maddie and was also super active and moving around non-stop and multitasking a full restaurant of guests and she was also very kind and welcoming. I bet if she used a fitness tracker, she'd put on more miles than I do at my job lol They also run specials for anyone who likes to try different foods all the time which is also nice PS, the servings are VERY generous, so you better show up with an empty stomach or you'll need a to-go box

It's a small establishment. Half a dozen tables Only had a chance to try their Bannock Benny with hash browns (extra $) which was good. I haven't had any Bannock in over 5 years so it was nice to have some. The Hollandaise sauce was tasty and the eggs were nicely soft poached (one egg was unfortunately broken, but all good). The service was friendly as well. Don't come in expecting a high end restaurant, but (imo) its a solid small cafe that serves up good food for a good price.

Great breakfast/ brunch/ lunch menu. Visiting from out of town and tried it on a whim as we didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant. We had the pork schnitzel and were pleasantly surprised to find it was actually a freshly made schnitzel, not a pre-made frozen one like you find almost everywhere. We also had the Bannock Benedict, a super cool twist on the classic version with awesome hollandaise. Really friendly staff, fast and fresh and delicious.

I still can't figure out why this place is so empty. Is it because it's new? Everything about it is great. The food is amazing, the price is great, and while off the beaten path, you can see it out the window. Everything we've had at this place is fantastic. Like the Bannock Benny. Just...think of that for a second, do I really need to continue describing the beautifully crispy fried bread under the blankets of honeyed ham, poached egg and hollandaise? Should I describe the Monte Cristo and how the hand and turkey are almost as thick as the slices of French toast? Or would it be best to swing the praises of the brekky sandwich which has a whole freaking omelette rolled into it and perfectly satisfies for only $10? $10! You don't need more and it's a billion times better than any chain or fast food in town. Seriously, check...

Was there for lunch and I had the BBQ salmon burger with bannock instead of bun, and a side salad. Root beer float (one scoop) to drink.

Delicious and very filling. The bannock 'bun' was wonderfully warm. One piece probably would have been enough for me (an open-faced burger?), but it was a very generous 2-bannock meal. The salad was simple but very fresh and just what I was after. It really hit the spot.

Restaurant and bathroom were very clean. Service and vibes were great. A wonderful small local restaurant that I'm glad I tried, and and deserves...
