SteamPunk Cafe — Restaurant in Camrose

This was a fun restaurant. There were some gears and interactive devices for the little ones to play with. The service was great - nothing to complain about at all.

The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. For the price. I'd say it was overly expensive.

It was steak and lobster night so the plate was "only" $38. Regular price is $62! Sounds like a deal, right? The lobster was good. The steak was dry and bland. I don't know how they think they can charge steak house prices for extremely mediocre steak.

The French Onion soup and the Fried Dill Pickles were both very tasty! Worth the price.

So, it was fun. An expensive birthday party for my kid, though. No birthday treat was offered at the end, unfortunately. I'd give 3.5 if I could but just can't give a 4 with the prices as high...

First time trying this place tonight and we will be back! We reserved a table and and were given a nice booth and they even apologised for the noise of the large party table and a small delay on food, we were in no rush but appreciated the honesty. Our starters came quickly and were delicious, our steaks and lobster came out and my husbands was not upgraded to large as requested. They offered to swap it & he said it was fine and he would keep it then the manager came over & apologised and gave us free drinks which was unexpected but a lovely gesture. All I can say about this place is wow! The service was amazing! The food was great! The atmosphere was amazing! We came here this weekend on steak and lobster night! What a great dinner. The steak was really good. The cut of meat wasn't the best (sirloin) but the made it so good that you wouldn't even know. The lobster was a little over cooked but it was still good. We came in with a 9 top and the food came out in a decent time. Oh and did I mention they the service was amazing?
