Angelo’s Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Camrose

Angelo's Pizza & Pasta is now operating in Camrose. This hidden gem is tucked into the corner of Station Centre Mall in downtown Camrose. The owners are very friendly. As soon as you walk through the door, you are made to feel welcome.

My wife and I have sampled a variety of menu items from Angelo's.

We have tried Angelo's Special Pizza, the Taco Pizza and the Ukrainian Pizza. All of the pizzas were delicious, but our favourite was the Angelo's Special.

The Ham & Cheese Sandwich is really good. It comes with a tossed salad, but we opted for an upgrade to a Greek salad. The Caesar salad is also a nice option.

We enjoyed the Chicken Melt, as well as the Teriyaki Melt. Both are served with a generously sized tossed salad. All salads are prepared with the freshest of ingredients and are the perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches.

The Spaghetti with Meat Sauce is terrific. The addition of meatballs, at an extra charge, elevates the spaghetti to another level. Upon the recommendation of the owner, we added pickled jalapeños to the lasagna. We've never had this combination before. The jalapeños pair nicely with the lasagna which puts this dish over the top in excellence.

At this time, Angelo's only offers take-out and delivery services. The food is nicely packaged and stays hot, so you can have a pleasant dining experience in the comfort of your own home. Dine-in will be available soon.

We stopped in to grab a pizza before running to pick up our kids from school. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. They had our pizza made in record time (as they knew we were on a time constraint) and it was AMAZING! I have a sensitivity to dairy but I had to try a piece. It was worth it! Ordered from here for lunch and was totally looking forward to it. Was seriously grossed out when I bit into my pizza and had my teeth flossed by a hair nicely baked between the cheese (see photo). Absolutely disgusting. They don't wear hair nets there so this could happen to anyone. Makes me question other aspects of cleanliness and hygeine of this place.
