Stalwart Brewing Company — Restaurant in Carleton Place

Who doesn't want to have your tapman named Phil? Stalwart is an IPA Haven in Carlton Place. They responded to their clientele and added lighter fare, with astounding results. High IBU and ABV best describes their lineup in a few words, but I would need more space (and Phil a lot more space) to adequately describe the variety of flavours and mouth feel of each of the beers in their lineup. Phil poured my wife and I the full 10 beer lineup. The beers flavour convince my wife and me to buy some IPad and their stouts (coffee and chocolate flavours from local suppliers like Hummingbird Chocolate). An absolutely stellar experience as always. The staff is very well experienced and very respectful. The beer has quite a range in flavours with a couple that are universally enjoyable for all beer lovers,though each beer is delicious in it's own right. They play very tasteful music from their record player and they love for you to order food into the establishment. Great group of people doing a great thing.
