Massive discrimination in this franchise!!!!! The customer service varies according to the ethnicity of the customer which is just horrible. I had been visiting this franchise for over a year. I've noticed this each and every time - if it's the Filipinos serving it's well and they are very polite and with prompt customer service..they do not seems to be biased at all.. whereas in case of North Indians they always treat fellow Indians especially South Indians with very bad and rude attitude. While I went there they made me wait several times, never greeted and takes order with a impolite and rude attitude. While I'm observing them, they greet the next customers and the ones before very well if they are Canadians or any non-indian. Incredibly shocking DOUBLE-STANDARDS!!!! Worst part is this happens each and every time and it's really ANNOYING! Also in terms of hiring there were many south Indians who applied but the north Indians who are already working there would never even consider them for an interview even with better part time skills and backgrounds. Tim Hortons must put a check on the attitudes of these north...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever in my life experienced. This was my first time ever at a Time Horton's and my fiance took me here ranting and raving about how good it was. Although my coffee and timbits were delicious, the lady at the register was absolutely horrible! She's the old lady who was working the cash register inside. From the get go we got nothing but attitude from her. I asked for a bottled water and she very rudely and loudly stated that she "did not have any water in the store because the truck had now showed up with shipment." I then ordered a green tea and asked if they had sweetener or sugar to go in it and she literally yelled at me asking which one I would like. I was obviously thrown off after being yelled at by her and again said "do you have both?" and that's when she followed up with "I said which one would you like!" She was so unbelievably rude and terrible. I would never normally write a review on something but I could not believe how I was treated. Without a doubt the absolute worst customer service interaction I have ever experienced. I will never go back to that Tim...
Read moreSo, I went to Tim Hortons the other day and I gotta say, it wasn't the best experience. I asked for vegetarian items and wanted to know how they handle those orders, you know? But guess what? They didn't use separate gloves for veg and non-veg stuff! Like, come on, that's a basic protocol, right?
And it didn't end there. The store manager gave me this look, like she didn't care at all. The manager's hair net was a total mess, and her hair was sticking out all over the place. It was not a good look, let me tell you. Hair nets are supposed to keep everything tidy, but this one was definitely not doing its job. It's just another thing that made me question the overall cleanliness and attention to detail at that Tim Hortons. It felt like they weren't taking my concern seriously. I mean, food safety is super important, especially for people with dietary needs.
I just hope Tim Hortons takes this feedback seriously and improves their game. They've got a good reputation, so they should live up to it. Let's see if they step up their food handling protocols and make sure customers like us feel...
