Primetime Donair & Poutine — Restaurant in Central Core

The food was excellent, was moderately slow, this is part my responsibility due to the fact that I am disabled, 😭 I am in wheelchair (mobility scooter) and unfortunately was unable to get close enough to manually open the door. However, although it took a bit of time to get it opened enough that I was able to get the girls attention. She was, in my opinion, nervous,scared, afraid, uncomfortable with approaching the outdoors to accept the order from me. This is due to circumstances in society today. I feel that she should maintain some advice/ training in association with public. When a man returned he needed to come out to confirm my order and repeat it asking if there was anything else I would like. Being a previous owner/ operator of my own restaurants 3 in Ontario, 1 here in Edmonton,then retired. This suggested to me that she didn't begin the order, she also did not ask if there was anything else needed. I again want to say the food...

I tried this a day before yesterday, Dec 27 and it was fine, no issues, but yesterday Dec 28 My brothers and I decided to try the different flavours of their buy1get1 promotion from UberEats and after half-a-day's time, we all got severe gas, bloating, cramping, vomitting and diarrhea.

We know for a fact that it was the donair because its the only common item we ate together and all 3 of us got the exact same symptoms and suffering.

I am just voicing my experience with this location. I have reported this incident to UberEats and I hope some health inspection investigation will soon be launched ASAP.

I wouldn't wish for anyone to experience and suffer the same way me and my brothers did after consuming their donair.

On Tuesday November 15 around 10:45-11pm i ordered 2 poutines .. one being my boyfriend’s , i was on call with him asking what he wants till that time i ordered mine and told her to give me a minute.. she goes behind the counter and started talking $hit about me in her native language to her co-workers but she didn’t knew I understood and spoke punjabi aswell.. i also work in fast paced customer service but never have I ever talked $hit about my customer for taking 2 extra minutes.. went home started eating the poutines none of them had any gravy just poured very minimal amount on top but after that everything was super dry and hard to swallow.. this location was our last option cuz everything else was closed but never again . Waste of $30 and poor customer service lol and stop with the fake...
