I placed my order on the mobile app. When I walked inside, I was kindly greeted by the young man and the young lady at the front counter. They were not wearing name tags. They gave me a cup so that I could get my drink. Half of the Diet Coke flavours were unavailable in the Freestyle machine. I asked the young lady if she could pour me a Vanilla Diet Coke and she was happy to provide me with one. I ordered a Double Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger meal. I received a Single Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger. They offered to remake the Double Grilled Cheeseburger. I waited - again. I was given another Single Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger. I showed it to Vishal, the manager. He did not apologize. He just asked the kitchen to provide me with an additional beef patty. Vishal was not friendly, pleasant, or attentive. A lady walked into the restaurant who had placed an order in the drive thru to complain that she ordered two chicken wraps but received a Dave's Single. How does that even happen? Vishal was the last line of defense at the drive thru. The bag passed through his hands. Before I left, I went to use the washroom. When I opened the door, I observed the most disgusting bathroom that I have ever seen. There were human feces all over the toilet and the floor. I called Vishal over to show him. He did not apologize, seem surprised, or even like he cared. He just walked back to the kitchen and as he walked back, he said, "I'll get someone to clean that." Vishal stood out to me as having poor customer service skills. The woman who was making the sandwiches needs to pay closer attention to the orders. She messed up multiple orders. I completed the survey on the back of the receipt. I received a response from Rhonda Gagnon, Market Manager, who offered me a complimentary meal voucher because of the horrific experience I had at this Wendy's. I responded with my mailing address over two weeks ago but it has been radio silence ever since. It doesn't even seem like management cares about all of the...
Read moreMan, listening and attention is an important thing in this industry. The order was taken right, good job! The order was not properly put together and I specifically said I didn't want a frosty as it wasn't a good idea for me today because I am sick and just needed something easy but their compensation for my time was 2 small frosty's I should have refused but just wanted to get home and said sure only for them to be melted, brilliant! Thanks for your resolve with the issue of not getting my poutine sauce (gravy) which you forget time and time again with my meals and I regularly pay for and having to sit a very long in drive thru again waiting for you to give that to me. I pulled over to check specifically looking for it, knowing it is forgotten too often, only to get home and realize you hadn't even given me the fries it was needed for! Brutal! This is the kind of terrible experience that your promotional material on the outside of the bag of "there being nothing happy about this meal" rings so true. I probably wouldn't have wrote this review if you would have just picked up the phone. This was just not my day as the tray you gave me couldn't hold my medium drink and it ended up all over my driveway. $40 just to get half of it. The only reason the atmospheres a 2 star is because outside the store was clean while I'm waiting for them to...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, especially for a big company unless i had a terrible experience. My parents and i went through the drive thru on monday, jan 30th (hopefully you can decipher who was working that night and get this review to him). We ordered, normal experience, we paid, just a regular teen working that window with no expression. Then we got to the window to pick up our food and the young man who is as working just made me smile. He was so polite, chipper, sweet, honest to god it brought my faith back into humanity to see a young person taking pride in their job, working with a smile on their face. He told us to park our car and he would bring out the chicken because it would be a few minutes. He brought us our food in nothing but a t-shirt while it was freezing outside, and again was just a ray of sunshine. Young man, i wish i got your name because i really wanted to let you know how much your positivity made my night. My partner and i spoke the whole 10 minute drive home on how happy you made us and how nice it is to receive service like that....
