Sushi Matsu Chateauguay — Restaurant in Châteauguay

Just went back to this restaurant after not coming by for a while. I received cold fried rice, cold fried dumplings & cold sesame beef. The waiters never asked us if we wanted to drink anything other than water, as if they were trying to do the bare minimum. Normally it doesn’t take long to receive our food, but this time it took at least 30 minutes to receive our sushis wich had a few choices missing while in the mean time we received the cold foods listed above. The restaurant wasn’t even packed, maybe at least 4 other tables. I also ordered the little japanese buns, which they served burnt. Upon paying I didn’t leave any tip & got called out by the waiter as to why I didn’t tip. It costed me 48$ for the food that wasn’t great plus a drink. We recently moved in the area and were excited to try this place. We regret ever trying it and wasting 100$ for 2. The service is slow, it took over 25 minutes to have any service at our table. But that's ok, considering they were only 2 servers. The food is sub par quality, every sushi tastes the exact same. The sushis arrive mostly all warm to cool at best. The pad thai was the worst I have had. It basically is noodles mixed in a cheap pad thai mix and thawed shrimp added. Would be surprised if it was fried in a wok or any pan. Pineapple chicken is extremely bland and watered down sauce. The prices are extremely high for what you are getting. This place is taking advantage of being the only all-you-can-eat sushi spot in the area. You are better off driving an extra 15 minutes and get some much better sushi than this place. In my life,I had really a rude encounter in a restaurant only two times and tonight was one of them at this restaurant.We went there at 20:00 when they were closing at 21:00.From the get-go,we felt unwelcomed.I had been in this restaurant many times before and I liked it at the time but I also knew that frequently,they had forgotten something we ordered so i literally circled everything to get my full orders tonight.Back then the food was good but tonight,not only did they forget our order as I expected but also the food was exceptionally bad . For 100$ for 3 people on a Tuesday evening,I would have expected abit more courtesy or at least a smile but instead I got rude, "why are you here?" attitude and rudeness when I asked about the forgotten items.Well,they win:never again back to this restaurant.
